CONGRATS: MASHINANI COORDINATORS TO GOVERNOR BARASA.
TWENTY County Youth Service and Women Empowerment Program (CYSWEP) coordinators from across kakamega have Congratulated Governor Barasa over his top ratings.
Speaking at a press briefing and in a joint communique the Coordinator's representatives drawn from Butere, lugari, Ikolomani, shinyalu, Mumias East said Honourable Barasa was focused.
"We have jointly agreed to come out and give a thumbs up to the Governor and encourage him to continue doing his best in line with his six point agenda" Said Mable Kirachili
The Coordinators, charged with day to day running of the program said the current process or arming Service Men and women with tools was timely as it would assure efficiency.
"This is the only program that is reaching the grassroots and the most trusted in as far as empowerment is concerned, that is why we say it was right to rate our Governor the best in the country because of his innovation" Said Peter Washika from Mumias East.
The coordinators, charged with the day to day operation and working of over 3,000 youth and women across the 12 sub counties of Kakamega, called out detractors and subbotours saying Governor Barasa must be left to work.

"We will stand with the Governor at the grass roots because we have internalized his agenda and pre-election pledges to the people and he is actually delivering" Said Mr. Alushula coordinator for lurambi Constituency.
The coordinators said the Kazi mashinani program is the only one governor Fernandes Barasa can rely on to meet his promises adding that timely payments of stipend and ongoing supply of tools by the Director Mr. Alakonya was a plus and a boost in the right direction.
"There are people who have lived all their lives on threatening established county governments to get money we want to tell them Extortion is no longer a tool tonuse on Governor Barasa" Said Peter Washika coordinator of Mumias East.
Coordinator Mable further threatened to lead county- wide demonstrations aganst known individuals who have made it a habit to eke out a living out of threatening leaders and using violence to get their way.

The coordinators encouraged Governor Barasa to continue his association and collaboration with the national government because that is the only way real development will be achieved.
The meeting resolved to hold sensitization meetings in every sub County to educate the people on what the programs of the Governor entail and their benefit to the locals.
