HON TIM WANYONYI: THE LONE LUHYA VOICE IN NAIROBI ON ODM.

Image
IF Media reports are anything to go by, then there is fire in Raila Odinga's ODM Party.  The latest is an open protest by Luhya MP's in the house who feel short changed in house business leadership.  A clear look at the voices and faces reveals Westlands MP Honourable Timothy Wanyonyi who as voices out here demand, needs to take the political leadership of Luhyas. All Luhyas across the subtribes will listen to him, as it was reflected when he was denied the ODM ticket to run as Nairobi governor.Every corner of Western complained. Honourable Wanyonyi is better placed than the likes of Oparanya because people if Oparanya speaks as he has always done, people will dismiss him as speaking as a Kakamegan, PM Mudavadi has reduced himself to a Vihiga guy etc. What is clear is that the MP should take up his role as the Luhya leader from Nairobi coming down to western, it should be remembered that when he was in kakamega Bukhungu Stadium, the whole town was painted his name..

EXCLUSIVE: KAKAMEGA EX SPEAKER'S CHARGE SHEET.

𝖤𝖠𝖢𝖢 𝖻𝗈𝗌 𝖳𝗐𝖺𝗅𝗂𝖻 𝖬𝗎𝖻𝖺𝗋𝖺𝗄.  MCAs accuse Buluma of THEFT, Incompetence and gross abuse of office. AN Exclusive report by Kakamega County Assembly that formed the basis of the impeachment of disgraced Speaker Morris Buluma has leaked.  The report by a 30 member committee gives a blow by blow account of said sins that the Speaker meted on the Assembly.  The Ad-hoc committee chaired by Nominated MCA Phaustine Werimo put together a water tight case that could attract the EACC and DPP officers if pursued to the later.  The report in the possession of @eshikumo2030 shows that close to 10 witnesses were called with tons of evidencial documents presented. The chargesheet says Mr. Buluma, as the chairman Service board failed to ensure that statutory deductions were remitted thereby resulting to accumulating oversighted bills.  To this end the Kenya Revenue Authority - KRA slapped the Assembly with a penalty of Ksh 14.5 Million in unremitted tax according

THERE IS SOMETHING FISHY AT MUMIAS SUGAR COMPANY

Image
FOR the last couple of days, activity has heightened at Mumias Sugar, the public private company that sits on public land whose lease agreement expired.  The latest activity is a visit by MCAs supposed to come from the sugar zone who are said to have gone there to "access the progress" the investor is making.  Prior to this, it was Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale who, like MCAs, returned a yes verdict saying "Sarai is capable of reviving the company".  I am not surprised that even some elders led by Engineer Julius Omutekete Nyarothso who happen to have been sitting on mundane sugar boards as chairs or simply as members just to draw allowances failed to interrogate the basics during their visit.  A company official leads MCAs to a tour of the company. Serious claims are coming out of such tours.  I am not saying it's wrong for elected leaders to visit a company that was once a vibrant entity on whose basis hundreds of lives were made as it thrived.  These visits

KAKAMEGA WATER EMPLOYEES WANT GOVERNOR BARASA TO HELP END ROT.

Your favorite blog is reproducing word for word a letter by a victim and insider at Kakamega Water services detailing all aged sins paroetiated at the once vibrant body.  You cannot come to a company where staff have been working hard with peace, You fire the 2 MDs, you fire Technical Manager, CFM, Procurement Manager, 4 Regional Managers.  You employ your blood sister, your sister in-law and around 30 of your girlfriends plus their boyfriends.  You establish  another company in the name of Rural Water Company not to serve the residents but as a prison for the staff who don't subscribe to your tunes of corruption, malpractices, Nepotism, immorality.  You dump them at the new company without structures in place. From January the staff have hard times getting salaries and facilitations at work place.  You come to court, seek for 45 days to  solve the staff case outside court, Ur granted but again u do nothing n come back to court only to resume with case.  The  cabinet ha

A CRITICAL LOOK AT GOVERNOR BARASA'S B+ CABINET

Image
BOTH critics and creators tended to agree that yesterday's team as unvailed by Kakamega County Governor H.E. Fernandes Barasa was "well thought out, most accurate and took in mind Qualifications, regional balance and experience".  Those nominated for appointment are expected, with the nod of the County Assembly , to assist in steering his development agenda for the people of Kakamega County to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.  Governor Barasa like his predicessor, added his Deputy Governor Ayub Savula extra responsibilities as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Trade, Industrialization and Tourism.  Others on the list included Mr. Lawrence Ingolo Omuhaka as the CECM for Public Service and County Administration. Mr. Omuhaka comes down from Nairobi where he was Chief Administrative Secretary.  Little known Mr. Livingstone L. Imbayi is the new CECM for Finance and Economic Planning as Ms Rachel Carol Atamba assumes the ICT, e-Governm

WESTLANDS MP RUNS ON AS OTHERS WAIT FOR CDF

Image
Women doing business in Westlands Constituency have received a major boost after Mama Twende Programme officially entered into a partnership with ISBI Team, an affiliate of Strathmore University Business School. The partnership is meant to offer training to women in business on best practices for running Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Mama Twende Programme is one of the flagship projects initiated by area MP Tim Wanyonyi. The programme involves empowering women through table banking as well as training of women through technical courses such as Hair and beauty, catering, fashion and design, driving and business training. Through this initiative, the businesswomen are equipped with requisite skills to be self-reliant and financially liberated thus giving them a platform to independently make decisions that affect their day to day life.
