CONFUSION AS COUNTY "FIRES" IMPOSTER "LIASON OFFICER"

Image
THERE was confusion in the public domain when Kakamega County distanced itself from a man who has for long posed as its employee in the Nairobi Office. In a letter signed by the no nonsense County Secretary who is head of Public Service Board Dr. Boniface Okoth the county says rubisjes efforts by Mr. Fred Muka to hold an Expo using its name.  "The county Government of Kakamega has not planned for such an event, you are not an employee of this government and therefore lack the legitimacy to sign any external communication using the county letter head without authority" Read the letter.  It goes on to aver :"The county government further reiterates its demand that you immediately cease from using the County's name, logo and symbol in all media or discussions with partners and  pulicity campaigns from now henceforth"  The letter copied to the County Governor Honourable Fernandes Barasa and his Deputy Ayub Savula has not come as a surprise following sev

DUPPED ORGANIZATIONS PULL OUT OF BOGUS EXPO AS HEAT RISES.

CLOSE to 20 organisations that claim to have paid for a 'Career Expo' in Kakamega have pulled out and could institute legal proceedings against the government.  A letter complete with a county Logo claiming to invite partners to an expo in Kakamega. The Cou ty has ruled the function as fake.  This came less than 24 hours after the Kakamega County government distanced itself from activities of a self appointed Nairobi Liason Office Fred Muka. Information accessed by this blog shows that several organisations had deposited money in the private account of Worldlink Career Academy SBM bank a company solely owned by Fred Muka.  "We have this morning learnt the with shock that we have been dealing with a con posing as a county employee, we are saddened that we held several meetings over the said Career Expo and thought it was a county affair" reads a letter from Sigalagala Technical Institute. Without giving details, the college based in Kakamega threatened to m

*NO STUDENT IN THE ENTIRE KHWISERO HAS MEAN GRADE A. ALLIANCE GIRLS HAS 66 A PLAIN. KAPSABET BOYS HAS 80* By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  Watoto wa KHWISERO wameanguka mtihani mbaya mbovu. Its a disaster. The school that seems to have impressed is Mwihila high. But their something is nothing nationally. Before I critique let me congratulate my father and brother Jairus Amunga for being appointed BOM Chair of Mwihila High school. But Amunga Jairus must be told to stop celebrating mediocrity.   Mwihila boys is our shinning star as Khwisero. Just like Butere  Girls in Butere. So, for a center of excellence like Mwihila where various govts have pumped in millions of shillings, to post a result where there is no single A student is disastrous. Most boys in the school are c materials. At Kabarak high no single student  got a C GRADE. All of them got B and above. So how can we celebrate those C things? Nkt. Simply Mwihila high the epitome of Kisa people cannot produce another Ju

JUNIOR SECONDARY HEADACHE EXPLAINED.

By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  1) staffing. For Junior secondary to have enough Diploma and Degree teachers; TSC should hire 32,200× 7 teachers per school which translates to 225,400 teachers in three years.  The wage bill will be 127.4 B. Per year. Wisdom will dictate that  it would have been cheaper for JSS to be hosted in secondary  schools than in primary schools. 2) Most sec schools including the one I am the BOM CHAIR had constructed JSS classes and Dorms.  Hence they had prepared for JSS. Others had divided their schools into JSS and SSS. Sec schools have labs Workshops Theaters and tuition  rooms for JSS, 8.4.4 and SSS. COMPARED to primary Primary schools most are empty shells. They lack play grounds.Science and comp Labs . Workshops. Libraries . ICT centres . Theatres . Lecture halls. It's foolhardy someone to think that Junior secondary schools learners shall be moving daily from primary  schools to nearby sec school for science practicals. Confusion.   Thi

MEET KHWISERO'S POOR HOMELESS NOISEMAKERS WITH A "GOOD" MP.

By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  While teaching at Kakamega high in the 90s I discovered thst most of my colleagues some with several degrees had no houses, yet all teachers at  Kakamega primary, Township, Bukhulunya, Amalemba pri etc who were P1 certificate holders were living in their own owner occupier houses. It shocked me. We were earning 2 times higher than them but they were doing better. Recently I discovered why. The higher you climb academically in Kenya, the more houseless and homeless you become because our type of education does liberate us. Our education makes one a slave. A slave of a payslip and trying to live a lie. A lie that you are better than other. Just looking around my  KHWISERO Constituency, graduates rarely build. Their sitting rooms are bars and bedrooms are lodgings at Haris KHUMUSALABA, Dondos day and Night club, Kisa Square or cosmos bar Mulwanda. Those with some cash will be located   at Roddys or Annex KHWISERO.  In KHWISERO our parents sold
