By Joel Eshikumo- Editor   "Let me state before-hand that I have never met Honourable Sylvia Muteshi but I have read about her many good activities and deeds for the less fortunate in Kakamega" FOR the last couple of days, paid fools masquerading as bloggers have been skinning small-bodied Nominated MCA Sylvia Muteshi alias  Senje  for stupid reasons.  The charlatans-for-hire, hiding in pseudo accounts on social media to please their masters have directed vitriol, cant and insults at the Honourable Member of county Assembly.  The skunks some male others female with demented brains have continously peddled lies, malice and falsehoods against  Senje  and went on to futely recruit fellow idle haters for the futile course.  For WHATEVER reason, Seeking to make Honourable Sylvia  Senje  Muteshi the laughing stock of the Assembly and the county because of anything, her political rise withstanding, or anything past or present, is to say the least stupid and ill adviced.

EDITORIAL NOT so many years ago, Kenyans woke up to the President of the Republic frog matched before cameras, ordered to say 'I have one wife'. Before  that incident, the Late First Lady Lucy Kibaki, complete with mean-looking body guards had raided a leading media house in a night orgy, assaulting journalists and throwing insults at them. Their crime: Referring to Nyeri politician Mary Wambui as a second lady that is, Kibaki's other wife. The picture of a mean-looking Lucy and a visibly scared President Kibaki proclaiming that he only has "one loving wife" is still fresh in our minds. After that, there was debate in Kenya on who could be running the country or making decisions for the President in the running of the country.  Fast forward Kakamega First lady Professor Janet Kaili last week ordered a chief to 'letwe kwangu' a said amorous Assistant Chief. It was claimed the said member of the Provincial Administration was luring mo

Look.  These clerks and others were sacked on claims that they were tools of theft, pilferage and plunder of thousands of shillings collected from source as revenue.  After the sacking, they collectively moves to court, it was held that their sacking was unprocejural and illigal as it went against the natural rules of Justice.  The court held that the dismissed workers were not given sufficient time to be heard and that the accusations the county relied on to sack them were as a result of "guess work".  The new Administration of Governor Barasa is now walking a tight rope as

Editorial by Joel Eshikumo  Managing Editor eshikumo2030.blogspot.com.  THERE is an emerging trend that could destroy or derail the working or the plans of the county Government of Kakamega. At eshikumo2030.blogspot.com, we have information that pockets of threats are starting to grow within individuals, call them crooks who are now claiming "ownership" of Honourable FCPA Fernandes Baraza's government. The said groupies are determined to hold Hon Barasa at ransom using past threats, deeds, actions and deals some dating back pre-election.  These individuals are raising their heads in Mumias West and Nairobi and are becoming a bother and a danger to workings of the government going forward.  We have information that their intention is to detract the Governor Honourable Fernandes Barasa from delivering on his mandate and pre election pledges and or concentrate on governing.  The most recent case is that of a Mr. Fred Muka who took over the Liason office in Nairob

A historic function was made by Kakamega County a week ago, it did not receive the attention it needs just because some people don't appreciate sport. The low key occation tho attended by Governor Fernandes Barasa, can not go un revisited. Over the years since the advent of devolution, all sports people who bring pride to Kakamega County, go home with  tshirts and sports machendise nothing more. This time round, five months into office the Sports Ministry under Morphat Mandela appears to have thought of a way out, it has decided to place sportsmanship at the center of governance.
