WHY GOVERNOR BARASA COULD SPEND FIVE YEARS CLEANING UP.

Image
THE re-absorption of 147 revenue clerks that were fired at the tail-end of the Former Kakamega Governor's tenure back poses a new headache for Governor Fernandes Barasa.  DG Ayub Savula at a function to re-admit Revenue Clerks wrongfully sacked. Photo courtesy.  It's with no doubt that the Governor is walking a tight rope righting the wrongs of a 10 year regime is no walk in the park. Look.  These clerks and others were sacked on claims that they were tools of theft, pilferage and plunder of thousands of shillings collected from source as revenue.  After the sacking, they collectively moves to court, it was held that their sacking was unprocejural and illigal as it went against the natural rules of Justice.  The court held that the dismissed workers were not given sufficient time to be heard and that the accusations the county relied on to sack them were as a result of "guess work".  The new Administration of Governor Barasa is now walking a tight rope as

KAKAMEGA County Ministers as picked by Governor Fernandes Barasa are the fulcrum on which the wheels of election pledges rotate. Of recent, there appears calculated moves by groups or crooked individuals who are out to antergonize the CECMs to deliberately divert their attention.  Such vile attempts have been cited in the Ministries of Health and Agriculture where profiteering ternderprenure groups that have been scattered from their comfort zones feel displaced.  In the Ministry of Health, ragtag individuals bragging how they had long sold government drugs in Public facilities and made millions now want to cripple operations after their networks and arrangements were scattered.  Geoffrey Owuor the Education CEC taking oath of office.  Since this government was set up and a cabinet modeled along side Governor Fernandes Barasa's  Usawa na Maendeleo , there appears to be hope for the cabinet to be independent thinkers and doers.  Unlike at the past

BARELY Two weeks of birth, all is not well at the newly launched Western Women Congress as claims of impropriety have emerged. Cat fights were witnessed last evening on the group's watsapp with massive removals of women who questioned some suspicious activities on the group monies. For instance in a discussion on the group, members questioned how mere tags for the event held in Kakamega were indicated to have cost Ksh 64, 000 when in real sense only Ksh 3,000 was given out. Members who questioned how the venue would cost Ksh 240,000 were not given answered but threatened and removed from the forum.  Eshikumo2030  is in procession of 29 pages of Bank account in the names of Consolata Namathsi Lusweti the chairlady and members are questioning why they were made to deposit money in a personal account at Baroda Bank Kakamega branch. The occasion brought together over 1,000 women.  Speaking to this blog Hon Connie Lusweti alias Blackie explained that
