WHY THE GOVERNOR'S SPOUSE 'OFFICE' IS GOOD BUT...

Image
As you read this, there is an attempt by Kakamega County Assembly to enact a law setting up the Office of the Governor's spouse.  This office supposedly will be fully-funded by the county, occupied by the wife to the sitting governor and will be have staff.  According to information already in the public domain, this office, if established, will be directly under the Governor's office.  As you read this too, Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale, under standing order 53/1 is seeking first, a statement on the creation of such office by the Assembly and two, cause the Auditor General to cause investigation into financial implications in the run up of creating such an office.  If passed by the Assembly, the office of the spouse will apply to all subsequent elected county bosses and their wives that will come after Governor Fernandes Barasa.  The idea is two pronged it could be beneficial if not abused or could still turn to an ogre that county bosses and their wives will use

THE CALM KHWISERO MCA WHO COULD BE MP.

HONOURABLE Handman Saya is the Kisa Central Member of County Assembly in Kakamega and the odds are smiling for him.  Despite coming from a Marjority clan in the entire Khwisero Constituency, (Omushisa,Omumaolia,Ommale), Kisa central where he represents Abamaolias are a minority. The odds are looking up and if numbers are anything to go by and he decides to upscale to MP, nothing will stop him.  Rumours are flying left right center that the Stylish MCA, smart, sociable, approachable and strategic if anything is to go by will seriously launch an onslaught to unseat Honourable Christopher Aseka.  Already, professionals in KHWISERO are warming up towards Hon Saya with meetings aimed at strategy and a clear thirst of change of guard.  Flying the Independence party KANU flag in 2022 under Azimio, the MCA was a punching bag for every contestant as he was regarded as an underdog and his sponsored party, less Azimio.  A surprise win of over 5,000 votes for Kisa Central t

SARRAI IS DROWNING, HE WILL HANG ON ANYTHING.

Image
The erstwhile investor in Mumias Sugar Comany Ugandan-based SARRAI is on a sympathy-seeking mission. There is a voice recording of a conversation purported to be between  an employee of West Kenya and one Joseph Barasa a charlatan from Busia Sugar company.  In the clearly falsified recording, the said FAKE employee is heard telling his charlatan friend that there are ten ways redeviced to "Finish SARRAI" in as far as Mumias Sugar is concerned. In the stage-managed Audio, it is clear that the said Barasa, an employee of Busia Sugar Company and a sympathizer of the struggling Mumias Sugar, is out to spread fake news and seek undue relevance.  The recording, spread by sympathizers of SERRAI and shared by sympathizers purports to emanate from an employee of West Kenya Sugar company a Farmer-based Sugar company, is the epitome of FALSE AND FAKE NEWS.  Other miller's, leave alone West Kenya and it's proprietor, would not want to engage in foolish side shows and

MUMIAS "FERTILIZER PLANT" COULD RUN IN TROUBLE. - Donors peg funding to Finance Bill.

Image
THE much publicized US-Funded Waste-fertilizer-plant in Mumias West could run into headwinds barely a week after it was launched.  According to a confidential report filed to the doners by US envoy to Kenya Amb Margaret Whitman on the night she flew out of the country, the "plant" could remain a mirage.  Multiple sources away from the report seen by eshikumo2030.blogspot.com including two elected MPs in Kakamega County privy to the on goings, the project funding faces "unrealistic demands by "groupies" who 'unusually want access' to part of the Ksh 1.3B.  The report in custody of US investment plan mandarins also paints a "bleak" or "delayed" future of the project if the current Financial Tax bill is passed by law makers.  "The situation remains fluid in Kenya as the populace debates a controversial finance bill that proposes funding of such projects, this, if passed, will have a direct bearing on how the said fertil
