MIGORI COUNTY SPEAKER ARRESTED.  Migori County Assembly Speaker Boaz Okoth was forced to defer Governor Okoth Obado's impeachment motion after he was arrested on Tuesday, September 29. NTV was first to report that Okoth was apprehended by detectives in Nairobi in a case related to the chaos that ensued in the assembly on Wednesday, September 23. A female MCA's arm was broken after goons reportedly stormed into the assembly and interfered with the motion seeking to eject Obado as Governor. Okoth had earlier on lamented that he feared for his life and accused ODM of orchestrating attacks on him and his family. "I was attacked in the presence of ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna. The person who attacked my bodyguard was his brother. “I am not sure why they attacked me. I think they thought I was with some MCAs at the hotel. My life is in danger," he stated. BUTERE ANGLICAN BISHOP QUITS AFTER NIGHT VISIT.  BY Joel Eshikumo.  Scandal -Ridden Butere ACK Bishop Timothy Wambunya yesterday bolted out of the Doicese leadership after two years at the helm. According to informed sources, the Bishop who has never heard peace since he took over the leadership from the previous prelate was troubled. Bishop Wambunya hit headlines as being  among the first Kenyans to contract the deadly Covid-19 virus on his return from a UK trip. At Butere dioceses, the prelate had been unceremoniously removed from the board of Butere Girls high school a school whose land he attempted to lease to shadowy Business man Julius Mwale Owing to their UK links.
