KCSE. KHWISERO'S SAD STORY DESPITE BURSARY MILLIONS.

*NO STUDENT IN THE ENTIRE KHWISERO HAS MEAN GRADE A. ALLIANCE GIRLS HAS 66 A PLAIN. KAPSABET BOYS HAS 80* By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  Watoto wa KHWISERO wameanguka mtihani mbaya mbovu. Its a disaster. The school that seems to have impressed is Mwihila high. But their something is nothing nationally. Before I critique let me congratulate my father and brother Jairus Amunga for being appointed BOM Chair of Mwihila High school. But Amunga Jairus must be told to stop celebrating mediocrity.   Mwihila boys is our shinning star as Khwisero. Just like Butere  Girls in Butere. So, for a center of excellence like Mwihila where various govts have pumped in millions of shillings, to post a result where there is no single A student is disastrous. Most boys in the school are c materials. At Kabarak high no single student  got a C GRADE. All of them got B and above. So how can we celebrate those C things? Nkt. Simply Mwihila high the epitome of Kisa people cannot produce another Ju

MEET KHWISERO'S POOR HOMELESS NOISEMAKERS WITH A "GOOD" MP.

By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  While teaching at Kakamega high in the 90s I discovered thst most of my colleagues some with several degrees had no houses, yet all teachers at  Kakamega primary, Township, Bukhulunya, Amalemba pri etc who were P1 certificate holders were living in their own owner occupier houses. It shocked me. We were earning 2 times higher than them but they were doing better. Recently I discovered why. The higher you climb academically in Kenya, the more houseless and homeless you become because our type of education does liberate us. Our education makes one a slave. A slave of a payslip and trying to live a lie. A lie that you are better than other. Just looking around my  KHWISERO Constituency, graduates rarely build. Their sitting rooms are bars and bedrooms are lodgings at Haris KHUMUSALABA, Dondos day and Night club, Kisa Square or cosmos bar Mulwanda. Those with some cash will be located   at Roddys or Annex KHWISERO.  In KHWISERO our parents sold

By Joel Eshikumo.  IN the run-up to last general elections, some people stood up and made sacrifices that boarded on their political careers. They had to cede ground on several matters all in the name of well being of the political outfits they belonged to. Mama Iddah Odinga fetting Hon. Tim Wanyonyi as the most organized and focused before the last polls. - photo courtesy  Westlands MP honourable Tim Wanyonyi is one of the Luhya sons who stood up and said a party is bigger than an individual. It's on record he gave up his gubernatorial bid even after he heavily invested in the race towards being the governor of Nairobi. The otherwise good-hearted lawyer stepped back and saw the ODM ticket handed to a green horn Polycap Igathe, despite that both the seat and the Office was his for the taking. Honourable Wanyonyi had to swallow his pride and settled to run as an MP in the dying minutes of the election period.  Somewhere along the line, ODM leader's spouse Mama Iddah

SAGANA 3: LESSONS TO SHAMELESS LUHYA LEADERS.

SAGANA 3 CONDUCTED IN KIKUYU LANGUAGE BY OUTLINING THEIR ACHIEMENTS UNDER UHURU. BUKHUNGU 2 HAD MOST SPEAKERS BEING LUO AND FEW LUHYAS WHO CURSED US AND TOLD US LEADERSHIP WILL COME FROM THE LAKE By Amunga Akhanyalabandu. I urge the Luhya NATION to study and follow what's happening at Sagana 3 and compare with our Bukhungu 2. IT IS LIVE ON INOORO TV. The president Uhuru Kenyatta has told the attendance he will conduct bussines of the meeting in Kikuyu LANGUAGE ONLY. Then he has invited the CEO of PDU a Kikuyu ofcourse to explain to Kikuyu community how UHURU govt has given them roads, water, electricity, water, jobs etc. The speaker is eloquent in Kikuyu telling us how all Mt Kenya region has benefited from UHURU and must follow and adhere to where he leads them. Kikuyu community have been reminded of jobs awarded to them because of UTHAMAKI. Yaani it is purely TRIBALISTIC. The guy shamelessly talks of jobs given to Kikuyu community in the army, police, TSC etc I mean.

OPINION : A CASE FOR FERNANDES BARASA IN KAKAMEGA BID.

KETRACCO CEO Fernandes Baraza who has declared his interest to run for Kakamega Governor in 2022.  OPINION With just an annual budget of 15.2 billions, Kakamega County has been able to deliver quality services to the people because we entrusted our resources to an individual who has financial knowledge and experience in managing resources.  This great County will only be able to perform better again if we again entrust another individual who has the knowledge, experience and proven performance displayed elsewhere. Let me  elaborate here candidly why we must by all odds choose a manager to run the affairs of this county. With an already worse economic situation in our country, anyone with an eagle's eye must be able to see hard times far on the horizon. The huge loans from IMF, World Bank, Euro bond and ADB are to be paid, starting in 2-3 years time. The government must continue running its affairs regardless of this situation.   Since these monies must come

HOW KENYAN TEACHERS ARE SUFFERING AS KNUT WATCHES.

DISTRESS LETTER FROM A TEACHER.  Edited by Joel Eshikumo.  Teachers are silently suffering and so when the employer TSC sends them Happy Teachers Day it sounds like mockery.  Tsc is the most ungrateful employer under the sun.  It began with the medical scheme. They were taken to Aon minet against their will while at the same time they were nhif contributors.  Yes after falling sick the teachers was diverted to makeshift clinics called Bliss which gave teachers less than satisfactory medical services.  Even as we talk there is nothing as uncertain as the teachers health coverage. They keep on shifting the goalposts to ensure that the teacher doesn't score.  Then came delocalization. The head teachers who performed exemplarliy well, or were in Union or Sacco, kepsha/Kessha leadership were targeted.  Old men and women in their fifties were mercilessly and mindlessly torn from their families and flung to remote areas to start life afresh. CBC was forced down their throats w
