KAKAMEGA THEFT: IT TAKES MUCH MORE TO TRUST SEN. MALALA.

The story of Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus is told in Acts 9:1-19 and retold by Paul in Acts 22:6-21 and Acts 26:12-18.

Saul of Tarsus, a Pharisee in Jerusalem after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, swore to wipe out the new Christian church, called The Way. Acts 9:1 says that Paul was "breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples." Saul obtained letters from the high priest, authorizing him to arrest any followers of Jesus in the city of Damascus.

On the Road to Damascus, Saul and his companions were struck down by a blinding light. Saul heard a voice say, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" (Acts 9:4, NIV) When Saul asked who was speaking, the voice replied: "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." (Acts 9:5-6, NIV. 

INCIDENTS of looting and daylight thievery at Kakamega County are not new. We have for long seen resources stolen to fund shadowy opinion polls depicting Oparanya as NUMBER ONE. 

We could see Senator Cleophas Malala raise up,ake very grave but factual claims and thereafter go under as sudden as he has appeared. 

In the past we have talked about the Ksh 200Million for Mumias Sugar looted by Oparanya stooges in his cabinet and inner cycle and well known individuals posing as business people.

Last year we saw a lot of noise about Covid-19 funds for Kakamega County, statements were taken by the police, names of alleged accomplices were published, Senator Malala added his voice and suddenly, the noise died down. 

Senator Malala is a personal friend but, I have failed to understand what goes thru his mind. He is not consistent,he is erratic he appears both serious and joking at the same time. 

It is these inconsistencies that make me wonder what comes into play and there is a lull suddenly. 

Now, Malala has taken the bull (Oparanya) by its horns once more. I am asking myself will this bear fruit and follow up made to see that something for the big public good is achieved. 

I have told the Senator before that it is him, in the driving seat as a watchdog for the people of Kakamega who can peel back the pretense mask Governor Oparanya has wore for a long time. 

It is Cleophas Malala who could have stood up way way earlier and consistently held the Oparanya government to account and all these apparent last minute cries would not have occurred! 

This is the time when people like Governor Oparanya, facing retirement and holding elective positions and are in transition window, normally use wrong methods to reward their cronies.  It is a time when they clean the finances from all accounts in the name of fictitious projects.  

Senator Malala has all along known that Kakamega County is a pure haven of such trickery, but getting cissy with the governor as we have seen before amidst the theft paints a very diffrent picture of Hon Malala's commitment to the course.  

Since only the Senator is mandated to oversight the expenditure and actions of the county executive,  we should give him the support,  if we don't,  we should blame ourselves for losing out on the over 100Billion shillings that Wii have come to kakamega county in ten years time with very little to show on the ground in all the 12 sub counties. 

Assuming that on the paltry side 1 billion was spent in each sub county , then, Oparanya would have mega projects in each sub county.

Has Senator Malala finally seen the light and pulled a SAUL to PAUL and wants to sincerely serve Kakamega as a watchdog without undue INFLUENCE as it is suspected to have been at the past? 

If the people of kakamega do not stand with  Senator, They will have helped one man in the office of governor to create  and 1million paupers and 1 millionaire. If the Senator is not clear and consistent on his audit demands against Governor Oparanya, the people can not trust him now and forever.

KAKAMEGA SERVICE BOARD UNDER SIEGE - As fresh bid to kick it out is received by Assembly.

A Petition to remove the six members of the Kakamega Public Service Board was yesterday received by the Assembly. We can exclusively reveal. The petitioner Dennis Duncan Muhanda wants the Assembly to consider kicking out the County employment body on a myriad of violations. The resident of Mahiakalo who has lodged the Petition pursuant to the provisions of Article 38 of the constitution section 5 of the county government Act. The six individuals tagetted are Chairperson Catherine Raini Omweno, John Ambrose Wanyama, Stanly Amwayi Were, Joel Amukoko Anyera,Sylvia Itembe Otunga and Ralph Wangatia Immam who constitute the CPDB. BREAKING NEWS: COURT STOPS OPARANYA'S KIN BURIAL

MUMIAS COURT has just stopped the burial of former firsts Lady's uncle over land tussle. In an order by Senior Principal magistrate at Mumias, the burial of Banerd Martin Kadima on a contested parcel of land be stopped. In an application filed by Rajab Opondo Wamukoya thru Maina Kuchio Omukamani advocates, the Plaintiff cites it as urgent.  The late Benard Martin Kadima is the uncle to Priscilla OPARANYA former First Lady and spouce to Governor Whyclifre Oparanya.  The order, to be served upon Butula Mortuary as the second respondent sets 16th as the hearing date where all parties including the first respondent Christopher Kadima will be present.  Apparently, the deceased transferred the contested parcel of land to himself then later to his son without succession.  The brother, the Plaintiff here, is living on land without a title deed.
