IN the history of Matungu Constituency, St Maurice Mwira secondary school's twin lab and class room stands out.

It is the first magnificent building of its standard built by Public money by a sitting MP Hon. Peter Oscar Nabulindo, following every detail on the Bill of Quantity - BQ and closely monitored by state agents. 

Another monument all building in Butere. The lerl 4 hospital in Butere built by Governor Fernandes Barasa to completion. 

The storey building stands tall along Ogalo road, it attracts on-lookers from a distance as it stands on a road leading to the classic FAFA Medical College the second best medical school in the country. 
Matungu MP Honourable Peter Nabulindo has bragging rights on his steadfast commitment in the expenditure of CDF funds to the benefit of locals. 

The St Maurice Mwira Secondary monument is fully equipped to offer students majoring in science subjects a chance to interact one on one with equipment in their exams. 
State of the art equipment in a laboratory. 

The specious building on the one side can host upto 200 students studying Chemistry and biology and 200 others in the normal two-stream class. 

The Mwira monument has driven political opponents of Honourable Nabulindo to envy and supporters to happiness to solidify his support.

RETIRING Principal of little-known Sinaga Girls Secondary school in Siaya County Madam Pauline Kowidi, has hatched a plot meant to fleece parents. GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
