KAKAMEGA. WHY BARASA FEARS MALALA ON THE BALLOT.

Barasa, a former ketraco MD is seeking to replace Oparanya as Kakamega County. 

His journey is full of mistrust, betrayals and shortcuts. Barasa came and edged out Kutima from Odm,he even made sure Kutima never see odm certificate. 

Barasa then shifted to Kizito. After using Kizito to eliminate Kutima, Barasa ensured Kizito suffers a blow in ODM.

Barasa then went for Imbogo and thrushed him in a deal that saw Imbogo lose some millions. 

Mugabe was the next culprit. After sponsoring Barasa lauching ceremony, he was shown the door .
Savula was next on line. 
He was cheated and offered 50M in a deal that saw him lose DAP ticket and accepted to be Barasa's DG.
Savula was promised half of Kakamega County government. As at now,reality is now sinking into Savula what  is now regretting .

The 50M is pending, Savula is not in control of campaigns and he is forced to follow Barasa like a lost sheep. Savula is technically out of Kakamega politics. 

The last battle that Barasa is now staging is against Cleophas Malala. For the last ten days Barasa has spend millions to taint Cleo's name over a University degree. Together with Oparanya, they have taken the war to the corridors of justice through Kidero's lawyer.

This is the last battle to the final seat. In this battle, between Cleo and Barasa, whoever wins will become the next Kakamega County Governor. 

Cleo is expected to be at the IEBC offices on 7th for clearance, something Barasa has vowed to stop through the courts.

Barasa is not keen on voter's decision through voting, he wants a short cut to victory because he knows the ballot won't favour him.

All eyes are now on Cleo on how he will fight and win this battle. Should Cleo win, he will proceed to the ballot with Barasa for citizens to decide and definitely that will be the end of Barasa political carrier.

    Cleo will overcome. The hurdles are many but all will be well. If at all they believe Cleo has no influence why taint his name.

KAKAMEGA SERVICE BOARD UNDER SIEGE - As fresh bid to kick it out is received by Assembly.

A Petition to remove the six members of the Kakamega Public Service Board was yesterday received by the Assembly. We can exclusively reveal. The petitioner Dennis Duncan Muhanda wants the Assembly to consider kicking out the County employment body on a myriad of violations. The resident of Mahiakalo who has lodged the Petition pursuant to the provisions of Article 38 of the constitution section 5 of the county government Act. The six individuals tagetted are Chairperson Catherine Raini Omweno, John Ambrose Wanyama, Stanly Amwayi Were, Joel Amukoko Anyera,Sylvia Itembe Otunga and Ralph Wangatia Immam who constitute the CPDB. BREAKING NEWS: COURT STOPS OPARANYA'S KIN BURIAL

MUMIAS COURT has just stopped the burial of former firsts Lady's uncle over land tussle. In an order by Senior Principal magistrate at Mumias, the burial of Banerd Martin Kadima on a contested parcel of land be stopped. In an application filed by Rajab Opondo Wamukoya thru Maina Kuchio Omukamani advocates, the Plaintiff cites it as urgent.  The late Benard Martin Kadima is the uncle to Priscilla OPARANYA former First Lady and spouce to Governor Whyclifre Oparanya.  The order, to be served upon Butula Mortuary as the second respondent sets 16th as the hearing date where all parties including the first respondent Christopher Kadima will be present.  Apparently, the deceased transferred the contested parcel of land to himself then later to his son without succession.  The brother, the Plaintiff here, is living on land without a title deed.
