APPEASE HON TIM OR IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE FOR ODM IN NAIROBI.
By Joel Eshikumo.
IN the run-up to last general elections, some people stood up and made sacrifices that boarded on their political careers.
They had to cede ground on several matters all in the name of well being of the political outfits they belonged to.

Westlands MP honourable Tim Wanyonyi is one of the Luhya sons who stood up and said a party is bigger than an individual.
It's on record he gave up his gubernatorial bid even after he heavily invested in the race towards being the governor of Nairobi.
The otherwise good-hearted lawyer stepped back and saw the ODM ticket handed to a green horn Polycap Igathe, despite that both the seat and the Office was his for the taking.
Honourable Wanyonyi had to swallow his pride and settled to run as an MP in the dying minutes of the election period.
Somewhere along the line, ODM leader's spouse Mama Iddah Odinga described Hon Wanyonyi as "the most organized, strategic and focused leader" she feted the MP on the growth of the ODM gospel in Nairobi.
Question: was Raila's wife doing this to deny Hon Tim the governorship of Nairobi and relegated him to the luckerluster Library and broadcasting committee as others without having sacrificed, took PAC and PIC positions?.
Was honorable Tim being "fooled" or blinded by the otherwise good 'actions' by the party in the last election period?
Today, it is clear that Hon Tim and by extension the people of Westlands have been kicked in the teeth by ODM as a party, it is backward that the sharing of parliamentary positions is a clear indication of a party that forgets very first.
ODM leader Raila Odinga must move fast and forestall a mass exodus from the party or the Azimio Coalition by re-looking at the contentious issues and the parliamentary leadership.
The earlier this is done the better but if it is ignored, then the glue that held ODM in Nairobi together is drying up and drying fast.
ENDS.
