GOVERNOR PROTECTS BUTERE MCA FROM CROWD ANGER.

Image
KAKAMEGA Governor Fernandes Barasa last Sunday saved Marama North MCA Edwin Nandwa from an angry crowd in his back yard after a church service. Drama begun outside Eshibimbi PEFA Church Butere when the MCA was invited to address a crowd that had formed outside to listen to the county boss.  The enthusiastic locals who, earlier thru a former MCA Sayid Omusirithsa claimed they were seeing a Governor in their backyard for the first time since devolution, shouted down Honorable Nandwa.  The Governor was forced to intervene to plead with the crowd to let the MCA address them. "tafadhali Wacheni kingozi aongee!" He said amid shouts and catcalls much to the chagrin of other leaders present.  The MCA, with difficulty and the Governor standing guard, said he appreciated their concerns and will address them at "appropriate time and forum".  However, the crowd broke into celebration when the Governor welcomed former MCA Sayed Omusirithsa to speak he said he was rea...

HOW GOVERNOR BARASA STOPPED THEFT BY OPARANYA CARTELS

Image
BARASA inherited a county that had entrenched corruption. Behind the smiles and photos of the former governor that made many to believe that it was progress, it was actually corruption at work. That's why oparanya has live corruption cases in court.  The noises and exchange of words that is surfacing currently from unsatisfied characters is a sign that the county government of Kakamega is today in  very safe in Barasa's hands.  All these noises you're seeing and regroupings  is because corruption taps that had thrived in the second term of former governor Oparanya have been closed by the current governor and the corrupt individuals who used to steal public funds have seen their loopholes sealed.  As we say corruption fights back dangerously. But BARASA ni italanyi. He will not fear anyone. Even the imbotokha filled characters who keep running to emabole village have been defeated in the name of Jesus. THE almost complete Butere level 4 Ho...

BUTERE COUNTY HOSPITAL: TOP MEDIC DEMOTED IN CHANGES.

Image
THE long-serving Butere County Medical Superintendent Dr Alfred Ambundo has been demoted and retained at the same facility as mere doctor.  In changes contained in a letter sighned by the CO Health David Alila, the hospital Administrator Dalton Mweresia has been uprooted and taken to Malava Hospital in the same capacity. These changes come in the wake of a report in which bees that had built a nest at the hospital for long periods of time attacked and killed an elderly patient almost three weeks ago. Kakamega Governor toured the hospital to access service delivery twe weeks ago where he met CHPS and visited the Hospital pharmacy where assorted medicine was stocked.  The letter dated 10th July stares that the removed officers were supposed to facilitate smooth handing and taking over. It is hoped the changes will enhance service delivery especially at night and weekends when the facility is said to be empty without staff.  ENDS .
