This morning, H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa joined other national leaders, led by H.E. President Dr. William Ruto, at Amutala Stadium in Kimilili, Bungoma County, for an interdenominational church service. In his address, the Governor thanked the President for prioritizing the development of the Western region, particularly Kakamega County. He highlighted several key projects, including the upcoming launch of a gold refinery in Ikolomani next week; the ongoing construction of Bukhungu Stadium to international standards; the planned completion and takeover of the Level 6 hospital; and, the upgrade of Kakamega Airstrip. These projects are expected to be significant economic game changers for the region. "As leaders, it is our responsibility to promote unity and collaboration.
