HON NAICCA TO PRESIDENT: DONT APOLOGISE ON MUMIAS SUGAR.

MUMIAS West MP Honourable Johnson Manya Naicca has told the president not to apologize for his sentiments on Mumias Sugar.  Speaking to eshikumo2030.blogspot.com today, Honourable Naicca wondered why it was only the LSK that was interested in MSC debate.  "Most lawyers have made their wealth from Mumias Sugar Company wars and it will be insensitive for the Law society of Kenya to ask for an apology from the President" said Naicca. He said since the wars of MSC erupted in the early 2000, lawyers have made millions fueling wars between waring parties in the MSC saga adding that this could be the reason LSK was defending them.  "Well known lawyers have been paid millions of shillings by MSC administration in wars that have nothing to do with the common farmer" He said. The MP called on President Ruto not to give in to any kind of preasure from any quarters in matters Mumias Sugar and focus on helping the company regain it's lost glory. "

KAKAMEGA COUNTY: IT'S A C+ (PLUS) IN BARASAVULA RATINGS.

THE Exit of Sam Wetungu as Director ICT and E-government will without doubt leave a vaccum that will take long to fill. A swift-foot work horse who is a pioneer since April 2013 to June 2023, Mr. Wetungu indeed baby-sat devolution with many firsts and feathers in his heart. He was also the first Director of communication, pioneer Liaison Officer and partnerships and now leaving after diligent in service. In his heart-full message posted on the official watsapp group of Kakamega 2022/27 General, Sam Wetungu thanks Governor Fernandes Barasa for having inherited his services for 9 months and says "It's time to exit and have my position filled, am aware it has been advertised and will be filled competently" Mr. Sam Wetungu. KAKAMEGA COUNTY ASSEMBLY MUST NOT BE A PARTY PUPPET.

LAST Week, several events touching on  Kakamega County Assembly leadership took place and they should not go unexplained. First, two MCAs, Koyonzo's Donald Okumu and Kisa south's Benson Omboko were de-whipped from. Agriculture and Health committees respectively. In a letter signed by Speaker Hon James Namatsi, no reason was given for the action seen by many as an affront to the independence of the Assembly committees.
