MATUNGU UNIVERSITY LAND: SEVERAL SURMONED - KSH 5.7m involved.
TOP Officials of Matungu CDF committee under the late MP honourable Justus Murunga could be headed to jail.
Surmons seen by this blog indicate that Matungu MP Hon Peter Oscar Nabulindo is seeking clarity on where the purported land is situated.
Those expected at Matungu CDF office for grilling include Mr. Sugut the Former CDF manager, Athman Wangara CDF chair, Mr Dindi CDF secretary and others who sat on the PMC.
Honourable Nabulindo is seeking to unravel the land puzzle that could see more officials record statement.
"You are requested to avail yourself at Matungu CDF office on Friday 24rd June 2923 at 11am to explain your role in the University land process and facilitate a visit to the land" Reads a letter seen by eshikumo2030.blogspot.com.
We have established that on 2nd December 2020, when the former MP's remains were in the mortuary at Lee funeral home, the CDF committee sat in Matungu and resolved to buy the said land.
During valuation the late MP has valued North Wanga/ Kholera 504 but it's puzzling that at the meeting, Chaired by Wangara they decided to buy North Wanga Kholera 151.
According to minutes in our procession, the committee, knowing well that the MP was not alive instructed the then fund manager to immediately release Ksh 5.7M.
The minutes show that a cheque's for Equity bank was written, deposited in the account and purported sellers accounts were credited with cash the same day.
The sellers, according tu our investigation were the same CDF officials who pocketed the cash and resolved to contest in the subsequent by election.
A quick search at the Kakamega Lands Office by Honourable Nabulindo after he won the by election revealed that the piece of land was registered in the name of Mumias Sugar Company.
The search shows that it also had caution that no transaction should be done on it UNTILL a previous despite usvresolved.
Today's Surmons are a culmination of a long cat and mouse chase where the MP was even falsely accused of having sold the said land.
ENDS.
