THE CALM KHWISERO MCA WHO COULD BE MP.
HONOURABLE Handman Saya is the Kisa Central Member of County Assembly in Kakamega and the odds are smiling for him.
Despite coming from a Marjority clan in the entire Khwisero Constituency, (Omushisa,Omumaolia,Ommale), Kisa central where he represents Abamaolias are a minority.
The odds are looking up and if numbers are anything to go by and he decides to upscale to MP, nothing will stop him.
Rumours are flying left right center that the Stylish MCA, smart, sociable, approachable and strategic if anything is to go by will seriously launch an onslaught to unseat Honourable Christopher Aseka.
Already, professionals in KHWISERO are warming up towards Hon Saya with meetings aimed at strategy and a clear thirst of change of guard.
Flying the Independence party KANU flag in 2022 under Azimio, the MCA was a punching bag for every contestant as he was regarded as an underdog and his sponsored party, less Azimio.
A surprise win of over 5,000 votes for Kisa Central that boasts of over 23,000 registered voters could come into play to bout the bi-spectacled soft spoken MCA if he decides to up grade.
Another magic wand around clans is that Hon Saya's clan is a Marjority in all the other three wards: Kisa North with Honourable Etabale, Kisa East- the late Maloba, Kisa West Honourable Ben Omboko
Also the three wards have close to 9,000 registered voters according to the latest IEBC record.
Honourable Says mobbed by supporter last week as he went on a whirlwind tour of his ward Kisa Central in Kheisero.
If Honourable Saya consolidates just half of Kisa Central where he is a minority but still won and adds North, East and West, he could be in parliament early.
The current MP honourable Christopher Aseka today faces a daunting balancing act especially after being mentioned in the death of Honourable Stephen Maloba where it was claimed the late was stabbed by Aseka's close Allie.
Of late the MP is struggling to blend once more on the ground but all is not rossy as pickets of resistance are emerging and this could tilt the balance and sway voters from him.
The Abashisa, known to rally as groups will have their trust and numbers tested if Hon Saya regarded as their own decides to contest as Khwisero Mp in 2027.
Already Hon. Aseka's support base is crumbling and there is thirst for direction.
Having been mentioned as intending to run as a deputy governor for the many candidates admiring to be Kakamega Governor, that could help Hon Aseka save face and or honourable exit the political scene because in African set up, being associated with death is a sign of bad omen.
Intelligence indicates that the Flamboyant Kisa Central MCA is out to fullfil the mandate for his voters in the ward and has remained tight-lipped on his next move despite loud murmers.
Observes are however saying Hon Saya would need a financial war chest to mount a constituency campaign something nobody knows how he intends to raise cash. All said and done, the die could be cast and it's only a matter of time.
ENDS.
