Speaking to eshikumo2030.blogspot.com, Prof Anangwe said since the advent of devolution, Butere was yet to get meaningful development.

"Actually, the Governor is bold and focused in getting a KMTC here, this is something comendable and we are fully behind him and will engage the Minustry at the National level to compliment his efforts" He said.

Anangwe who served as Butere MP long before devolution said past regimes at county level had their priotities wrong because the lager population in Butere was fooled to believe their job was to clap for and praise leaders.

"I actually think we were overated in as far as devolution and development is concerned because even the devolved funds holders turned to demi gods demonizing those who they thought could not follow blindly" He said.
