HOW MPS AND MCAS LOOTED MALAVA POLLS FACILITATION MONEY.
THE Malava by election dust has settled, Seth Panyako has wiped his tears and Ndakwa the winner and MP-Elect is still savoring his victory.
One thing has come out clearly however because the numbers don't lie, most grassroot leaders deployed to campaign for Ndakwa in Malava should be ashamed to loudly celebrate.
This is because as we may agree a win is a win but the Malava margin and the resources that went on the ground in support do not make sense at all at all.
For instance Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera was given Ksh 6million on the election day to rally Manda Shivanga and Mugai shirugu wards, he only managed 2,000 votes in each.
The MP Resorted to crying wolf and running from his own shadow in pretext that he was being attacked by opponents at every turn.A grand scheme to hide the resources at his disposal.
He is not alone. His Navakholo counterpart Honourable Emmanuel Wangwe pocketed Ksh 4m to rally Shirugu Mungai and west Kabras wards, 2million per ward, we have footage of him giving as little as Ksh 50 Bob as facilitation! And the numbers are not impressive either.Where did he take the remaining amount.
Honourables Shinali and Ikana charged with Chemuche, East and South Kabras with 6 million,that isKsh 2M per ward,could not deliver a land slide they too sprinkled 100 Bob as facilitation keeping the rest!
Look at MCAs who were given Ksh 1.4 M each for logistics against their delivery on the ground where Seth Panyako triumphed!!
Manda Shivanga MCA Hon. Kivishi, voting at Tombo primary very early and having been fully facilitated Seth Panyako won with a very huge margin!!
In Chemuche ward Honourable Ikolia voted at Tumbeni Primary school. Here too, Seth Panyako swept the board!!
Honourable Kevin Maelo him of Butali Chengulo ward voting at Namanja Primary could not rally meaningfully votes for Honourable NDAKWA and it's clear Seth Panyako won in that ward too!!
In south Kabras, MCA Honourable Wakhuna voting at Malimali primary failed to deliver anything for Honourable Ndakwa despite the facilitation!
The list is long but it now appears that all those charged with helping the by election were mere stooges, had Honourable Ndakwa not gone out of his way to personally charm the voters, he would have lost. It's clear the votes he won with are truly his.
Another MCA Honourable Kefa Musui him of East Kabras voting at Ikolia Primary this one too did not help the course! He received facilitation and did not see it needful to rally for NDAKWA! He walked around on foot eating in smocky places imbibing the devil brew and not mentioning Honourable Ndakwa.
Going forward it's clear that only Governor Fernandes Barasa who used his own resources to traverse the whole constituency,plus his grassroots Networks and county structures and President William Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet who both sacrificed own resouces and camped in Malava all through were out to net victory genuinly the rest are now known as NDAKWA MILLIONEIRS.
Even Kakamega Woman representative Elsie Muhanda who got Ksh 20M to traverse Malava Constituency in support of Ndakwa could not help deliver a land slide!! She instead used this resources to advance her gubernatorial ambition,She is now dishing out monies to MCAs who support her cause to a tune of 50k, She is using this money to complete her house in Madala.
Ndakwa was indeed a darling of the people. He was helped by Governor Fernandes Barasa and Farouk Kibet in all sincerity but the rest should be ashamed having used this chance to loot and not deliver. Take it or leave it, Seth Panyako was and is still deadly hunt.
