BUTERE LEADERS have dismissed ODM Deputy Party Leader Godfrey Osothsi's last weekend attacks on Kakamega Governor.
Speaking at Sabatia market when Governor Barasa opened an ODM office, local officials and MCAs called out the DPL as bad-hearted and full of Imbotokha.
Led by the ODM Chairman former Councilor George Omulama, the leaders said they had had enough dictatorship on matters the party and would take no more.
" People are calling us to avoid the opening of offices by the governor but we are tired, we have suffered for long we now say enough is enough" He said amidst loud cheers.
In apparent reference to Kakamega Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda and other officials, the former Councilor dismissed as hot air threats by Osothsi and other officials to punish Governor Barasa for unknown crimes against ODM.
"Governor Barasa is fast becoming an asset to the party unlike people who have been in it longer, the DPL should also open offices in Vihiga and deal with his issues there because he is an ANC remnant" He said.
Speaking to the exstatic audience, Governor Barasa said nothing will deter him from continuing his journey of opening ODM offices across all the 12 Constituencies of Kakamega.
He said he will not be detracted by noise, catcalls or empty threats because as the elected governor on ODM and its chairman it was winthin his mandate.
Speaking at the occasion, the local MP who has letely been said to be leaning away from Governor Barasa, denied and held that he was fully behind the county boss and respects him as his chairman.
