Image
By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  Khalwale MOURNS his bull more than the worker the bull Killed.  By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu Senator KHALWALE, has mourned a bull that killed his worker more than he has mourned the worker. In a tweet on the incident the senator calls out the killer bull as a champion and mentions it 3 times. He mentions his dead worker only once. And in various clips the senator is seen crying and weeping after he put the bull to death in accordance to Luhya trading. It's not the first time we are seeing Luhya nation leaders crying and worshiping a dead animal or reptile.  *We saw it in Butere hon Tindi mwale weeped and mourned his beloved dead dog as it it were a person. Tindi has never shed tears in any funeral in Butere of any of his constituents. But he cried for a dog! Question is why? Answer. Power.   He went ahead to give his dog what one will call a state burial complete with guards of honour.  In Luhya land ritualistic worship of animals a

GUV BARASA'S NINE LIVES NA BADO.

1. A campaign was done to taint his name with ketraco but he triumphed. 2. Immediately he was sworn in, some planned to create a wall between him and MCAs but they flopped and the governor worked on a cordial and respectful relationship with MCAs. FIRST LADY Professor Janet Kasily the epitome that seems to qualify the "behind every successful man" adage.  3. Later on, the detractors tried to taint his name before baba but again this failed and the two Odingas' understand each other well as brothers both having their roots to Nabongo. 4. A plan was well cheoregraphed to isolate the governor from MPs but again this didn't see the light of the day. 5. They came with a scheme to fight the governor from his doorstep but wangas by nature always stands with their own and the schemers were left with an egg on their face. 6. They tried to create an imaginary war between the governor and his deputy, this too didn't yield fruits as the two chose to fo

GOVERNOR BARASA IS THE 2023 HERO OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY.

Its without doubt that Governor Fernandes Barasa has scored firsts in his first five-year term at the helm of Kakamega County. From distribution of drugs and non phermaseuticals in hospitals across Kakamega to instalation of water points and getting cozzy with People Living with disability, it's been a ride. Since the advent of devolution, it's only in the Barasa administration that a day to mark, celebrate and fete those abled differently was observed with pomp at Bukhungu Studium.  Unlike in previous ad ministration where PLWD were regarded as a curse and most sneered at by even the Governor himself, Governor Barasa has shown his soft touch along that line.  According to Ministry of Health, Over 140,000 adults are abled differently in Kakamega County with more than half of them now able to enjoy some of the benefits the county government has to offer.  From doing business without paying licenses, free medical assessment, free treatment in c

OFFICIAL THEFT: IS VIHIGA GOVERNOR VICTIM OR PLAYER?

Image
By Mwalimu Amunga Akhanyalabandu  The massive LOOTING of Vihiga county is happening in the full glare of the elected MCA'S who are supposed to play an oversight role. Reason why they are not playing their roles is coz, the MCas are the greates benefitiariaries of looting and corruption in Vihiga VIHIGA residents inform me that the only upright MCA in VIHIGA is one hon Abudika and hon FELA MIHESO who have set up motions in the assembly to stop looting.  Just from the word go, otichillo started his first term by trying to please MCAs so that they do not impeach him by giving them 20 million per annum each for their wards.  That's when Otichilo had his balls captured by the MCAS. HE IS a slave of MCAS.  Otichilo has killed all suppliers, contractors etc who did businesses with the county by not paying pending bills and by replacing them with companies associated with MCAs and cecms and chief officers. That the entire security of Vihiga county government is a tender giv

IMPEACHMENT MOTION: HON. MOFFAT MANDELA IS THE VICTIM.

Image
It is the responsibility of Hon Titus Kwoma or any other MCA to oversight the county government, however in matters removal of an EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE member it is not just enough pursuant to section 40 of the County Government Act to institute a motion based on the following;- 1. Incompetency. 2. Abuse of office. 3. Gross misconduct. 4. Failure to attend executive committee meetings three consecutive time. 5. Physical or mental incapacity. 6. Gross violation of the Constitution. The mover of the motion has a further a burden of proof to discharge. He has to substantiate and provide material evidence in support of whichever allegation he or she may bring forth in the motion. And in all impeachments with regard to the meaning of 'gross' violation and what it constitutes, the Supreme Court of Kenya in Martin Wambora case did not do better than the  Supreme Court of Nigeria  did  in  Hon. Muyiwa InakoJu &  Others v Hon Abraham Adeolu Adeleke (supra) when  it  define
