GUV BARASA'S NINE LIVES NA BADO.
1. A campaign was done to taint his name with ketraco but he triumphed.
2. Immediately he was sworn in, some planned to create a wall between him and MCAs but they flopped and the governor worked on a cordial and respectful relationship with MCAs.
FIRST LADY Professor Janet Kasily the epitome that seems to qualify the "behind every successful man" adage.
3. Later on, the detractors tried to taint his name before baba but again this failed and the two Odingas' understand each other well as brothers both having their roots to Nabongo.
4. A plan was well cheoregraphed to isolate the governor from MPs but again this didn't see the light of the day.
5. They came with a scheme to fight the governor from his doorstep but wangas by nature always stands with their own and the schemers were left with an egg on their face.
6. They tried to create an imaginary war between the governor and his deputy, this too didn't yield fruits as the two chose to focus on the big mandate (6 point agenda).
7. They hoped that his former competitor Cleo Malala will deviate his attention by being noisy but the young Malala being sharp and young chose to give the governor humble time.
8. They tried to arm twist several political players against the governor but seeing the humble and cool nature of governor they instead chose to work with him.
9. They tried to discredit his development agenda but when the governor launched several 10km roads and ECDE in Lurambi and Mumias West, successfully distributed drugs to hospitals, gave subsidised fertilisers, successfully gave bursaries to needy students, constructing of fertiliser plant and industrial parks, building of water projects etc they have now coiled back.
It's difficult to fight a man on a mission chosen by God for that mission.
