RAINS WET GOVERNOR BARASA AT HOME.
A TOWN HALL Sub county meeting by Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa at his Matungu home was wet and heavily pounded by rains.
Tents blown away by heavy wind, locals running helter-skelter for shelter and a Governor determined to be heard at home was the norm last evening.
The 9th townhall engagement dubbed public Participation at Matungu DC's ground begun on low key with Ministers and their assistants fielding questions from locals.

In a show of power and it's enjoyment, locals cheered as their son inspected the guard of honor in a clear indication that they enjoyed his occupation at the helm of Kakamega County.
CECM s and their Chief Officers fielded different development oriented questions from locals sampled from People living with disability to business people asking about the plan of their son Governor Fernandes Barasa.
On health, locals decried the lack of medicine inmocal health facilities to which the Governor responded saying he was aware that sine drugs were being stollen and sold by practitioners to private clinics
On Governor Barasa's pet project Amathsi Khumuliango (water at the door step) under CECM Peninnah Mukabana, locals wanted to know the time lines for the water to reach them for which the Chief Officer said it was all systems go as the Ministry had mapped out the entire county for the rolling out of the project.
Water and Natural resources ministry under Hon Peninnah Mukabana is emerging as the fulcrum that will determine if Governor Fernandes Barasa gets a second 5-year term as Kakamega Governor or not.
According to past townhall/sub county meetings already held, It is the performance of this particular Ministry that appears to be the marking scheme for Governor Barasa's administration because everywhere the meeting is held, Amathsi Khumuliango is a concern.
In his short dress amid heavy rains to locals who braved the down pour, Governor Barasa who appeared exhausted as he had just flown in from an official engagement in Mombasa said his administration was determined to serve everyone despite his political affiliation.
"Elections are behind us, I was elected to serve everyone despite their political leaning and that is what Iam determined to do" He Said.
Governor Barasa said he will stop at nothing because his administration had encompassed People with disability and other less fortunate in his administration.
The rest of his address was dawned in the rains that say journalists covering the event scamper fir safety as the storm intensified....
