WHAT was foolishly expected to be an easy ride to Governorship by Kakamega Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda is turning out as an impossible task.

Time is not running as fast as the WR and her backers thought it will, money is not flowing in from roads contracts she undertakes as expected.

Her camp is honeycombed with no secrets, exits, back biting, backstabbing less-informed online yellers (those aren't bloggers) who don't discuss or generate ideas but focus on silly insults and an impatient inner circle.

After she made up her mind to contest as Governor, Elsie Muhanda crafted a team she was not farmilier with, she promised most elected leaders heaven, cash donations and largesee.

The old lady is at a crossroads today, the future is uncertain, the past is already occupied she has crossed the rubbicom with nothing to show to those who voted for her in 2022.

On the retrospect, Governor Fernandes Barasa has settled down, distributed plans and projects from Manyala in Butere to Likuyani. 

The Governor, With a delivery team of committed CECMs and Chief Officers is firmly in control of the county Goverment. He is consolidating, tying loose ends as the train zooms towards 2027 in full throttle. 

As Elsie Muhanda staggers and struggles with finance, debts, logistics, stupidity, untrustworthyness and ignorance from within, the rug has been pulled from under her feet by the Manager, she is now not the woman wahera mu skati she appears naked.

Those close to her claim she is hurting seeing people pledge their support upon Governor Barasa because of his plans and project implementation strategy the latest being the Butere MP who led a delegation towards the county Governor.

The woman Representative is not having any sleep she has been reduced to a professional mourners hopping from funeral to funeral if not from primary to primary with Sanitary towels donated to her free, the situation is not good and it will get worse. 

Honourable Jackline Mwakha Okanya. She is fast stepping in to inherit MARJORITY voters of Elsie in 2022. Her dream is looking up. 

As they say in English, Rats desert a sinking ship, the latest delegations standing with the Kakamega Governor are making Elsie Muhanda's head throb, her eyes red and her lips dry she could faint.

Even Bonny Khalwale has realized he could suffer the same fate he did when he went against EX Governor Whyclife Oparanya in previous elections he has put a halt to his activities. 

Already, the biggest population of voters who elected Muhanda thinking she would keep to her pledge have shifted their support largely towards Madam Jackline Mwakha Okanya who is today ranking high in opinion polls due to her forthright fulness. 

Mrs Okanya appears to be the exact replacement of Elsie Muhanda on the road to 2027 as she has remained true to her course of rallying voters as a true servant who wants to deliver as a woman reprentative.

Like the proverbial hyena, Elsie can't go back or forth she is at cross roads, mbele not working, nyuma not tenable as shouts of Barasa KUMI make her loose sleep.
