NGAFF: EACC PUTS WOMAN REP ELSIE MUHANDA IN HOT SOUP.
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has summoned National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) chief executive officer Roy Sasaka Telewa to record a statement over investigations into unexplained wealth estimated at about Ksh 1 billion.
The move follows search operations carried out on January 8, 2026 at his residence and office, as investigators pursue inquiries linked to corruption-related dealings, procurement irregularities, and asset accumulation during his leadership at NGAAF and earlier service at the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC).
EACC has indicated that the inquiries cover transactions and property acquired between January 2021 and January 2026, a period that spans his time in senior public procurement and management roles.
During the searches, officers recovered materials deemed relevant to the case, which are expected to inform the direction of the ongoing investigations.
Once the probe is concluded, EACC will determine the appropriate action under the law. Also under probe is NGAFF allocation for Kakamega County after numerous preasure groups petitioned the commission.
Documents show that Kakamega NGAFF has failed to be utilized for the entire cou ty but for a few K own individuals close to Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda.
