AS the 2022 general elections neared and the campaigns picked up speed, Fernandes Barasa the then CEO KETRACO became popular amongst the elite.

The "Manager" brand was born, bred and sold successfully and resonated very well by its ambassadors from Likuyani to Manyala in Butere.

Going head to head at the ballot against his biggest challenger Former Senator and Mahiakalo MCA Cleophas Malala, Brand Barasa, backed by his predecessor Oparanya ran a campaign along elitist lines.

Barasa's  Opponent, Cleophas Malala, packaged and sold as a candidate who lacked the know-how to manage finances and or resources, having had no budgetary allocation as both MCA and senator, however ran a boolish campaign that ran from 4am to 4pm daily.

Manager Barasa and his backers successfully sold their candidate to the masses and he emerged victorious and became Kakamega's second Governor in an election that observers claim postponement was a blessing in disguise. 
KEEPING CALM: Even when he was accosted by a stick-wielding Woman Representative, he remained calm and focused. 
Today, Governor Fernandes Barasa as clearly seen at the funeral of Malava MP Malulu Injendi has brought out who he is: A calm man. A strong leader, alert and incharge.

From the preparations to him arriving with bulls, to receiving the body, to security, to management and financial prudence... Barasa did well.
The Malulu funeral wiped any doubts that had been created after that chaos at a MUMIAS funeral caused by the beleaguered Matungu MP Peter NABULINDO. Some had suspected that BARASA is a violent man. All those suspicions ended yesterday in Malava.

Barasa as master of ceremonies handled his part perfectly, even when Kakamega Senator Khalwale tried to provoke him, he kept his cool. Even when mama county Elsie muhanda slipped and fell, BARASA quickly rushed to support her 

But what makes BARASA score high, is his closeness to President Ruto and even closer relationship with RAILA ODINGA and Odm party. 

Barasa is retaining Kakamega governor seat without stress.

RETIRING Principal of little-known Sinaga Girls Secondary school in Siaya County Madam Pauline Kowidi, has hatched a plot meant to fleece parents.
