BLOGGERS WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY THE NABIIS OF THIS COUNTY.

EARLY this morning, individuals claiming to be acting on behalf of or for Lugari MP Honourable Nabii Nabwera threatened the publishers of eshikumo2030.blogspot.com. 

These individuals called the blog headquarters demanding that the blog stops Forthwith its coverage of the death of Head teacher Simon Isiaho of Munyuki Secondary school in Lugari.

The callers with same message threatened untold action against continued coverage of the incident that has seen some bloggers sued by the MP for allegedly linking him to the death.

We at eshikumo2030.blogspot.com want to say this. If it's true the shadowy individuals are working for Honourable Nabwera then it's very sad and backward. 

In this day and age, it is funny that an Honourable member of parliament like Nabii can resort to threats, intimidation and subtafuge to an independent blog like this one without having mentioned him or linked him to the henious incident that has grabbed headlines. 

Honourable Nabii and his hirelings must know that this blog is run professionally and has stuck with coverage of the story objectively since it broke early Monday morning. 

Sending individuals to try and bully an otherwise middle of the road communicator is smirks of illiteracy and backwardness. 

A cabal of political mercenaries hawking fear and intimidation to hold people to deceit selling fear over otherwise mediocrity have no time in the present day independent country. 
Honourable Nabii must be told in no uncertain terms that we will not be intimidated or cowed by bullies in suits and sports shoes, he must know that at the blog we have never been petty or afraid to say it as it is. 

If it's true that he slapped a teacher as it was claimed by KNUT's statement, if it's true that the legislator has turned female teachers in Lugari as items of entertainment, if it's true that the late stood upto the MP's misgivings, eshikumo2030.blogspot.com WILL REPORT it as it is and will give the MP a chance to rebute weather he takes it or not. 

Claiming that this blog was being used by his political enemies in and outside the constituency is outright nonsensical and can not pass. 

Honourable Nabii and all his blind clappers, earning wages to try and kill voices of reason must be ashamed and called to order. Mheshimiwa must be told to beba mzigo wake.

CHIEF JESICA: FUNERAL PREPARATIONS GATHER SPEED IN BUTERE.

Kakamega county Public Service CECM Dr Boniface Okoth this afternoon led Chief Officers Faith Gitira, Emanuel Kariuki and Butere Sub County  officials at the home of the late Chief Officer Jessica Weku in Shinyulu for ongoing funeral preparations.  The delegation met family members, the church for deliberations. Another meeting will be held on Monday. Chief Officer Weku died last week after a short illness.
