MEDICAL Services Chief Officer Dr. David Alila today read the riot act to organised groups in Butere to stick together or perish in the competitive world of investment.
Speaking to 100 boda boda stage chairmen in Butere, the Chief Officer said in line with Governor Fernandes BARASA'S wealth creation agenda, organised groups such as Bodaboda, mama mboga needed to focus on welfare.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Officer said he was in the process of registering a SACCO to serve motor bike riders serving the five wards of Butere sub county.
"If you stick together you will benefit but if you fragment, poverty will be a common denominator and you will blame leaders thru out" He said.
Dr. Alila whose ancestral home is in Butere said the Kakamega Governor Dr Fernandes Barasa is passionate about investment, self reliance and the need for independence thereby giving out grants to groups.
