GOVERNOR BARASA SHINES AS HIS CECMS ARE CROWNED BEST.

THE Crowning of two female County Executive Community Members (CECMs) as being top in the Kenya in as far as Service delivery in their dockets is concerned is a clear indicator that what a man can do, a woman can do better.

By bagging the prestigious Woman of the Year award, Kakamega Water and Natural Resources Minister Hon. Pennina Mukabana stands out amongst men in other counties in the same docket as a focused Worker.

By bagging the best Performing Woman CECM, Kakamega youth and sports CECM Jackline Kakai Masicha demonstrated mothethood, hard work and focus towards Governor Fernandes Barasa's prep-election promises.

The two elegant women are a clear testimony that public service can be better in the eyes of the real recipients of delivery away from parochialism and or cheap politics of braying like donkeys on social media ne shine ta!

The two honourables with starling CVs have bouyed Governor Barasa's Goverment on the global map and have raised the county ratings on the road to a second term of 10 years ending in 2032.

By the scouping the best performing CECM in her docket in the Western region and first position in Kenya, in an East Africa Superwoman Awards research, Mrs. Mukabane received the honor at a ceremony held at the Argyle Hotel in Nairobi last week.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Mukabane welcomed the recognition and expressed gratitude to Kakamega Governor H.E Fernandes Barasa for entrusting her with the opportunity to serve the people of the county in that capacity. 

The East Africa Superwoman Awards aim is to recognize, celebrate and amplify the contributions of women who break barriers and drive innovation across various industries.

Mrs. Mukabane has been instrumental in driving water connectivity agenda across Kakamega County and her efforts have materialized in an increased number of piped water connection in homesteads from Likuyani to Manyala in Butere 170 Kms away. 

The CECM also acknowledged the support from staff in her ministry, particularly Chief Officers Dr. Mariam Were and Mr. Bill Silingi, whom she credited for providing essential direction and support within the department.

She was accompanied by the Chief Officer for Environment and Natural Resources Mr. Bill Silingi.
Within the same government, a paradime shift in Health Department both public and medical services by CECM CPA Imbai, Chief Officer David Anrkeya Alila, Chief Rose Muhanda, Director Medical services has seen change of outlook in as far as Health is concerned.

Kakamega Governor HE Fernandes Barasa selected suitable individuals to run particular dockets in his Government in tandem with his six point agenda.

The crowning of his ministers on the international map is a clear testimony that the Barasa Regime 2022 to 2032 is solely for the common person's comfort.
