Malack as the Executive Secretary Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Mumias Branch. In an application dated 14/8/2020, Mr. John Wesonga Lutta had moved to court to challenge his ousture by KNUT Secretary General Honourable Wilson Sosion from office. In cause number 60 of 2020, the claimant moved to sue Mr. Wesa P. M. Meshack the purported Ag KNUT Executive Secretary Mumias Branch, The registrar of Trade unions and KNUT national office who were lined up as respondents. Mr. Wesonga the longest serving Executive secretary had in the application termed the action by Hon Sosion to remove his as "I lawful and unfair" since  laws guiding suspension of any Executive Secretary were not followed. Report By Peter Shitabule ( Editor)  FOUR top officers at the troubled Kakamega County Assembly could go to jail over an irregular payment of Ksh 5Million.  Documents show that the amount was paid to a hotel in Khwisero whose proprietor is the Assembly majority leader Mr. Joel Ongoro. A payment voucher in our procession shows the reason for payment being "meals by MCAs". It is claimed they ate meat and kienyeji worth the amount. A source at the Assembly has told the media that the payment has kicked off a storm and divided top officers who are not seeing eye to eye. Students at a school. Bishop Sulumeti girls Students are spending cold nights in the school. Property worth millions of shillings is suspected to have been lost after unknown men broke into Bishop Sulumeti Girls high school. According to the Principal Jane Cheloti, unknown people broke into the girl's dormitory and stole property including blankets, text books and uniforms. Speaking on phone, the Principal said the incident that happened one week before last week's re-opening had been reported to the police. "We do not know what exactly was stolen but most boxes of the girls were broken into, tho we have had security in the school through the Corona period" She said. Mrs. Cheloti said the school administration had not told parents adding that they were in the process of documenting what was missing from each student. 200,000 BRIBE: PETROLEUM BOSS ARRESTED.

By Joel Eshikumo The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) Director-General (DG) Robert Pavel Oimeke is being held at Integrity Centre after he was arrested for soliciting Sh200,000 bribe to approve the opening of a petrol station. According to a statement by EACC, a filling station in Oyugis had previously been closed after being fined in a case involving possessing super export petrol. After paying Sh309,842 to KRA, and later issuing a clearance letter; the station opted to go through the EPRA DG to get authorisation for reopening. EPRA intentionally delayed releasing the authorisation prompting the staff from the filling station to visit the regulatory body and initiate communication. They would exchange numbers and conversation would continue over the phone. On Thursday, December 10, the complainant reported the case to Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
