OPARANYA WAS A KALONGOLONGO ACCOUNTANT. (Part two))

Image
HOW GOVERNOR BARASA INHERITED DRYBONES.( Part two) Oparanya was  a kalongolongo Accountant.  To mask the fraudulent schemes, financial statements were manipulated and bribes were taken in terms of 10 to 30 percent depending on the work load.  The Firatsi project, located on the boarder of three wards was restarted recently after an audit two years ago and is almost complete to actualize Amathsi Khumuliango.  Projects like Shathsala market remain stalled because audits show that inefficient and harpharzad expenditure of Ksh 200M paid to a contractor who took off in July 2022 and is unable to finish.  The supposed Butere Smart dairy has audits running into millions of shillings from the previous administration with books of account smelling of heist.  The story of Madala tea factory reads like plain thef. Only land was bought at a cost of building the whole factory so on paper it was available but on the ground only land and a sign post.  Gov...

GOVERNOR TO HIS CABINET: DELIVER. PERIOD!

Image
This morning, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa chaired the 29th Cabinet Meeting of Kakamega County—the first for the newly appointed CECMs—in line with Section 41 of the County Governments Act, 2012. It marks an important administrative milestone in our journey of transformation, focused on fast-tracking key resolutions to enhance service delivery, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of development priorities centered on our County Integrated Development Plan. Across every corner of Kakamega, Governor Barasa’s six-point agenda is taking root and changing lives. From the current maintenance of 5 km of roads per ward—after successfully completing 600 km of roads across the county—to ongoing bitumen roads and the construction of bridges that are opening up rural access, and the distribution of free farm inputs for food security—including the planned top-dressing fertilizer delivery in May—our communities are seeing real results. Governor...

OPARANYA RESSURECTING GHOSTS: MORAL LESSONS.

Image
This is a wake up call to ALL serving in the Executive of HE Fernandes Barasa.  In the photo of ghosts resurrected from Oparanya's cabinet, Dr Collins matemba -Left (In pathetic shoes) was powerful CECM Health.  Next is Alfred matianyi ex CECM trade then land. Former POWERFUL Marjority leader and CECM social services then lands Robert kundu is there too.  FORMER Iron lady Reachel Okumu (With rag around her neck) was CECM public service could cough and the corridors of power will shake.  Looking pale is former DG Philip Kutima then George Lutomia CECM Education during those days. No nonsense Kulati wangia ran Agriculture while Geoffrey Omulayi was in roads. Finally Amba Lucas Ochami powerful County Secretary. They have fallen from grace to grass, that's why they can be available at short notice to meet their firmer boss.  My point is when serving in any position, stop the threats, stop the intimidation, serve diligently, if you steal, share t...

GOVERNOR BARASA INHERITED SKELETONS OF A COUNTY. (Part One)

Image
Most projects begun by Oparanya in the last three months in office lacked a budget and turned out to be meant for heist.  FRESH From the cooperate world, KETRACO boss Fernandes Barasa did not know what awaited him as Kakamega County boss.  Backed for office by fellow FCPA Whyclife Oparanya, it is now clear Governor Barasa came to office of a county that was outside rossy but a skunk from inside.  After settling in office the governor was confronted with a whooping Ksh 10 Billion as pending bills cumulatively with on-going projects, launched at the sun set of his predecessor's term.  WATER! WATER ! Water for locals has remained Governor Barasa's rallying call. Out of 250 inherited projects, 60 are up and running .  Monsters like the infemous Shamakhubu Hospital, Butere Level 4, Madala Tea factory, Malava dairy and such others, ongoing without a budget were immediate concerns.  Its clear that by June 2022, Oparanya was still launching ...

BARASA TO ECHESA : YOUR TACTICS AT EXTORTION ARE OVER.

Image
Gloves are off. Governor BARASA is no push over to be extorted and threatened by a person he calls an ILLITEATE baboon. BARASA says Echesa uses old fashioned thuggish extortionist styles of destruction, violence and name calling hoping that he will be called to a discussion table for him to get a cut. He used the same tactic with Oparanya until he was given a tender at Mumias. He did it to Kidero, he did it to Kebati. He tried it on Faruq kibet but failed. This is his survival playbook—relentless attacks until his target gives in. But this time, he has met his match. Governor Barasa is standing firm. Now, the Shibale Goon is panicking, making frantic calls to Governor Barasa’s allies, asking, "Bwana, huyo jamaa anasema nini? Anataka niendelee kumulima tu, ama ataniita?" He is frustrated, pouring money into a fight without knowing if—or how—it will ever pay off. BARASA says an ILLITEATE GOON will not hold Kakamega county and MUMIAS farmers ransom using threats.  Th...
