As August 9th is fast approaching, the Kakamega County elections narrative is set to change for good. Since the advent of devolution, voters will get the real value for their votes in office of the county senator if they make the right choice.

Today ANC has been unequivocal that they will field candidates in all positions from MCA to governor that locks out the Outgoing senator who has declared his intention to replace Governor Oparanya thereby locking horns with his predecessor Dr. Bonny Khaslwale at that level. 

This is a blessing in disguise for Dr. Brian Lishenga whose CV fits the office he is set to contest in the coming elections.

The debater and educationist with enough experience and exposure could be said to be an embodiment of humility and decency. One of the lessons from his life is that, the real leader is one whose altitude is determined by his attitude; one who has been elected by destiny to take responsibility for a people.


Brian's apparent dignified composure and sagely attention to the many problems afflicting the legislation of the country, has, no doubt been an invaluable counsel to the promotion of national unity.

GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
