TWO POLICEMEN AND BUTERE ASPIRANT ARRESTED IN MATUNGU AS ROBBERY SUSPECTS

SUBJECT :ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE / ARREST OF POLICE  Officers.

Ref my OB  18/29/3/2022 at 1920 hrs it was reported  by one PETER  WATAKO NANYAMA  tel no.0725 118260  while at his  home Musoma village , three people entered his compound with a blue salon car and identified  themselves as police officers from Dci kisumu .

They asked the whereabouts of his son namely Fredrick  Watako who has a case pending before court and is out on bond.

The said Fredrick  was not around and  one of the men produced a pistol and threatened the reportee to produce his son or be arrested.They then  demanded ksh 150,000 / but he gave them ksh 13,000/ and promised to give them the rest the following  day. 

They gave mobile no.0712 051634  and kept threatening the reportee to deliver the remaining  amount at Mumias  Town. Today  at around 6:00 pm the complainant  together  with officers from koyonzo and mumias  laid an ambush and were able to arrest the following:
 1.No.78561 pc Fredrick onyango oguta
2. No.59773 Pc Peter kusimba 
3.Donald lubanga  a  luhya male adult  a DAP-k Aspirant in Marenyo Shianda. 

The two officers are based at luanda Railways  patrol base.

GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
