EXPOSED: OPARANYA’S PLOT TO KILL RUTO/ RAILA WESTERN INFLUENCE.

Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya, a seasoned political figure from Western Kenya, has recently embarked on the initiative to establish a new political party aimed at uniting all leaders from the Western region under a single banner. 

While publicly framed as a unifying endeavour for the people of Western Kenya, this move can equally be interpreted as a calculated strategy that undermines the Orange Democratic Movement, the party that has been central to Oparanya’s political ascent and which facilitated his appointment to the cabinet.

By championing the creation of an alternative political platform, Oparanya is directly challenging the cohesion and strategic authority of ODM. His actions constitute a clear affront to the party, weakening its influence and risking the fragmentation of regional support that ODM has cultivated over the years. 

The timing of this initiative is particularly sensitive, arriving at a moment when unity among party members is crucial to consolidating political strength ahead of imminent elections.

Moreover, this manoeuvre exposes a troubling conflict of loyalty. 

Oparanya continues to enjoy the privileges and advantages of ODM membership while simultaneously promoting an initiative that could diminish the party’s standing. 

It is, in effect, an act of political sabotage, designed to reposition Western leaders, including himself, outside the established party framework and potentially establish a rival power base.

The ramifications extend far beyond ODM, raising broader concerns about party discipline, allegiance, and the balance between personal or regional ambition and collective party interests.

This development demands careful scrutiny, as it tests the party’s ability to maintain cohesion and resilience in the face of emerging challenges. Observers will be watching closely to see how ODM’s leadership navigates this crisis and whether the party can preserve its unity amid the pressures posed by Oparanya’s initiative.

CHIEF JESICA: FUNERAL PREPARATIONS GATHER SPEED IN BUTERE.

Kakamega county Public Service CECM Dr Boniface Okoth this afternoon led Chief Officers Faith Gitira, Emanuel Kariuki and Butere Sub County  officials at the home of the late Chief Officer Jessica Weku in Shinyulu for ongoing funeral preparations.  The delegation met family members, the church for deliberations. Another meeting will be held on Monday. Chief Officer Weku died last week after a short illness.

BUTERE COUNTY HOSPITAL: TOP MEDIC DEMOTED IN CHANGES.

THE long-serving Butere County Medical Superintendent Dr Alfred Ambundo has been demoted and retained at the same facility as mere doctor.  In changes contained in a letter sighned by the CO Health David Alila, the hospital Administrator Dalton Mweresia has been uprooted and taken to Malava Hospital in the same capacity. These changes come in the wake of a report in which bees that had built a nest at the hospital for long periods of time attacked and killed an elderly patient almost three weeks ago. Kakamega Governor toured the hospital to access service delivery twe weeks ago where he met CHPS and visited the Hospital pharmacy where assorted medicine was stocked.  The letter dated 10th July stares that the removed officers were supposed to facilitate smooth handing and taking over. It is hoped the changes will enhance service delivery especially at night and weekends when the facility is said to be empty without staff.  ENDS .
