INVADE AND OCCUPY MUMIAS SUGAR LAND. SAVULA TO RESIDENTS.

LUGARI MP Ayub Savula is calling on all farmers formerly affiliated to Mumias Sugar Company-MSC to invade and occupy the vast nuclear land.

The MP who intends to vie as Kakamega Governor in 2022 said this at the funeral of Former first Matungu MP the late Joseph Wamukoya on Monday before a charged crowd.



Honourable Savula said it was useless for the government to continue making empty promises to revive the company when it was clear the mission was not possible. 

"The government knows well that the company us dead and the only langauge it listens to is action, go and occupy the factory land and settle there after all its now useless to Continue waiting!!" He said.

Speaking amid cheers, the MP said those charged with the said revival from the County Government of Kakamega had turned the activity into a money minting activity

"Con men have invaded the revival debate to constantly set aside millions of shillings and steal the same every financial year" He said.

Honourable Savula said the MSC land can be better utilized in planting other crops other than waiting for the company to wake up.

Last week two families were arrested while planting maize in the nucleus land. Police confiscated seeds and fertilizer from those arrested.

GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
