Speaking in Emayowa village Mayoni Ward at the Burial of Former MP Joseph Wamukoya, hon Malala told off the MCA over the ODM petition.
"We have people who are pretending to be with Hon Nabulindo but in real sense they are listed as witnesses against him in the ele tion petition, Honourable Oduor I have seen your name as a witness agains the ANC candidate who was elected" Said Senator amid wild cheers.
Honourable Oduor who was present could not stand the shame as angry youths shouted that he was in bed with Governor Oparanya both seeking to rivers gains made.
Before the Senator could finish his statement, the ailing MCA walked to the dias and attempted to grab the microphone.
Senator Malala allowed him to speak to which he denied that he was on the list of those the ODM Party had lined up to testify against the new MP.
A clearly disturbed Oduor said he was not aware that his name was on the petition list as a witness adding that if that was true, he was ready to withdraw from the petition.
There was a light moment when politicians Hon Benjamin Washiali Mumias East MP and EX CS Rashid Achesa walked out immediatly the Senator took the microphone to which Senator Malala said "wanaondoka kwa sababu nataka kuwaambia ukweli na wanaogopa"
Senator Malala said it was rediculous that he was dragged to court with trampled up charges of stealing a power bank yet he was seeking votes for Honourable Nabulindo peacefully.
All politicians including MCAs led by Khalaba MCA Boniface Osanga called on the ODM Party to accept that their candidate David Were lost at the elections and withdraw the petition.
Kakamega Governor Whycliffe Oparanya skipped the funeral over what sources claimed was fear of public backlash on the petition which he us at the center.
Honourable Nabulindo called on all politicians and local leaders to put aside their defrences and divisions that came about at the by Election.
He said his focus now was to heal the woyda inflicted by the election adding that he will convene meetings to bring every opinion leader on board.
He said 12 months was a short time to accomplish everything adding that he will not be detracted away from service delivery this short time.
