LEONARD SHIMAKA is an opportunist with no interests of Malava people at heart.

SHIMAKA is only concerned about his GLEE, his personal ambition to become speaker of County Assembly on the road to August 9th but not the tarmacking of roads, building of schools, supporting the education of bright students from poor families, constructing ECDE centres, building and equipping hospitals on the grassroots of Malava.

It is by reason of the matters aforesaid that Shimaka is desperately hiring, assembling and paying known serial political brokers around Malava town for PUBLIC RELATIONS EXERCISE and in an attempt to hoodwink FERNANDES BARASA and his team that he has huge support around Malava or he can single handedly deliver Malava to him.

However VOICE OF MALAVA under Patron LAWRENCE TOLI MAFUTA MUKOYANI is an organic idea birthed by Malava grassroots people to better their lives collectively as one people under one spontaneous voice, besides advocating and demanding for what is rightfully theirs politically, economically and socially.

Malava has suffered alot under Professor Philip Museve Kutima's ten years of Deputy Governorship of taking tea and reading newspapers in office without development. And LEONARD SHIMAKA wants again to take us through the same cycle by only minding about himself becoming speaker without development in Malava 

VOICE OF MALAVA is therefore not meant for a few opportunists like LEONARD SHIMAKA who has emerged from the BLUES to claim some positions of power in a would be Barasa Government at the detriment of collective gain of Malava people politically, economically and socially. Voice of Malava stands for real and seeable development in Malava.

Take it or leave it Voice of Malava under patron LAWRENCE TOLI MAFUTA MUKOYANI shall outlive LEONARD SHIMAKA'S selfish and opportunistic TENDENCIES. Viva

RETIRING Principal of little-known Sinaga Girls Secondary school in Siaya County Madam Pauline Kowidi, has hatched a plot meant to fleece parents. GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
