EXCLUSIVE: MATUNGU MCA FACES ARREST OVER DEATH.

KHOLERA MCA Godliver Omondi, her driver and a personal assistant face arrest and prosecution over a fatal accident two weeks ago.
According to an Exclusive letter obtained by @eshikumo2030, one Essau Onyuka died after he was run over by the MCA's pickup registration number KBC 845.
The letter by the Mumias Traffic Base commander Inspector Godfrey Mangeni seeks to have the three arrested and charged accordingly.
The letter dated 24th September this year states that after the Driver Rajab Maende Wabwire running over the deceased, he carried him to the MCA's homestead to try and administer first aid.
The letter says on the fate full day 13th of September, Namasanda area along Mukhweya Kholera road while the driver ran over the victim and did not report to police after the first aid attempt.
The incident was however reported by an eye witness under OB number 13/09/2021 as the decesed's motorbike was detained at the home og Honourable Godliver.
The letter addressed to the Director of Public Prosecution DPP states that the police were seeking permit ion to charge the driver with atleast 4 counts including causing death by dangerous driving and failing to report to the police the incident.
Other possible counts include driving an uninsured and unroadworthy vehicle.
The late is said to have died at St Mary's hospital due to complications from the accident as Godliver refused to respond to questions to confirm or deny the incident.
The letter stares the MCA if approved by the DPP could be charged with permitting an unroadworthy and uninsured vehicle on a public road.
The MCA's PA Dennis Omondi could be charged with giving false information to the police after he tried to cover up the incident at the instruction of the MCA.
It is not clear when the three could be arrested but investigations reveal that efforts by the MCA to cover up the death were futile as police have stood their ground.
Inspector Mangeni says he has forwarded the inquiry file in respect to the matter to the DPP for perusal and advice.
