THE KSH  5.6Billion Puzzle of Kakamega Women Fund(2017-2021)

What Ksh. can 5.6B do
1. Build New 2centers of excellence-schools  in each of the 12 sub-counties of Kakamega.
2. Build 1 New Market in each of the 12 sub-counties.
3. Build a modern dispensary in each of the 60wards in Kakamega. 

4. Pay school fees for atleast 2000 children from form 1 to 4 in Kakamega. 
5. Fund 60 bodaboda groups with atleast 100,000grants. 
6. Fund atleast 10 women groups in each ward with a grant of 10,000/-
7. Fund atleast 1 group of people living with disabilities with each equipment or funds for their group of 50,000/-
8. Support 5 men groups in each ward with atleast 10,000/- for their activities & investment.
9. Build a gender rescue center* in each  constituency at a cost of 5Million. 
10. Build 1 youth incubation/ ICT center in every constituency for 3Million. 

What the Money has done:

1. Opened Kakamega Maendeleo Sacco headed by a Kalenjin CEO that lends money for punitive interests. 

2. Giving bodaboda loans with unmanageable interests& obtaining their bikes with failure to pay. 

3. Distribution of free seeds donated by Kenya Seed as CSR to 5 farmers per ward

4. Buying panties & pads for selected school girls 

5. Umbrellas for Selected women. 

Critical questions Must be asked on how this money is being used while many women in Kakamega are suffering. 

Public money must be accounted for.

Mama County  Elsie Muhanda must answer these questions.

GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
