HEAVY LOOTING AT LAKE VICTORIA NORTH WATER AGENCY.

TROUBLE is brewing at Victoria North Water Works Agency that covers six counties of Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, TransNzoia and Nandi.

Water and Sanitation CS Hon. Alice Wahome. Stakeholders want her to intervene in Lake Victoria woes. 

The Chairman of the agency Mr. Julius Bakasa and a cabal of other individuals are claimed to be running down this Agency through corrupt dealings. 

An insider has told Eshikumo2030 that today, Mr. Bakasa is manipulating the recruitment process of CEO to favor his clan's people as he is fronting the Current Finance Manager Antony Kisaka who is on the EACC Rader for alleged embezzlement and fraud.

Another clan's Man being fronted is Mr. Joel Wamalwa who was sacked by former Gov Oparanya for malpractices and incompetence as a Chief Officer .

There ageing Chairman has not stopped there in his effort to run LVNWS like a matumbo kiosk, He  also plans that his son in law one Owino, a person not from the area to take over a senior position in the agency.

The Chairman Julius Bakasa Wasike. He is accused of ineptitude and nepotism at the Water agency. 

All the individuals eyeing the giant water agency's leadership are also claimed to have played a big role in d campaigning the Kenya Kwanza candidates including President William Ruto.

Not long ago, The Chairman and his team of sharks including the Chief Finance Manager and one Contractor Zak Fata have led to release of a Ksh 2.5bn meant for Mois Bridge Matunda project in Kakamega and taken it to North Rift Agency hence making locals lose employment opportunities.

We demand the CS Water and President to immediately  revoke the entire Board of Directors and ensure they come from entire region as well as appointment of a CEO from the people who understands and supports the current regime from Kakamega being Headquarter to make the Agency achieve its purpose.

In a letter seen by this blog, stakeholders are demanding for an audit of the agency accounts before it is sent to its death bed by the officials.

The letter addressed to EACC and the DCI enumerates several loopeholes being used by the said cabal to practice blatant nepotism and favouritsm in employment for instance the Chairman has employed his son Aloys Wasike at the Agency.

Stakeholders are also demanding that all contractors who have undertaken shoddy jobs at the state cooperation be black listed.

GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
