ALL SAID, WHAT IS RAIA OPARANYA DOING WITH COUNTY PROPERTY?

Ex-Kakamega Governor Whycliffe Oparanya is having a run in with the authorities about his own sins and deserves no sympathy.

Oparanya thinks he is still County boss and can hold on County property using his position as ODM deputy party leader. 

Oparanya is suffering from kasumba ya uongozi, he can't seem to let go the fact that he served his 10 years and should relinquish all official property. 
He could have carted away office furniture, hospital beds and sold off County vehicles he had bought in a huff but it's time Oparanya and his backers knew times have changed. 

Seeing the ex Governor at Kakamega Police Station looking shaken sheepish and speaking with difficulty should not attract sympathy or empathy. 

Oparanya and all his hirelings online, in Kakamega or in Busia where he is married must come to reality that tables have turned and time is up. 

He must himself realize that while he was Governor, there was blatant looting and trampling on the rights of the people as he bragged that he will only give bones to his critics and indeed his home town Butere was served with bones as it remains ramshackled. 
Looking at the sorry state of Butere one fails to understand how a man who was voted always in polls as being the best Governor could not empower his people and build basic amenities back home a whooping 10 years. 

It is shameful seeing a panting Oparanya pointing at the stoned car in Busia saying 'they shot at my car' when in real sense the car is the property of the government. 

Questions emerge on if there needs to be a thorough audit of what the Ex Governor carried away while leaving office after his tenure. 

Oparanya and his backers must be ashamed that they are enjoying previledges of the government, paid for by the tax payer and using the same to abuse and demean the two levels of government unashamedly. 

It's time Oparanya must carry his own cross AZIMIO or no AZIMIO, Oparanya must be chased like a terrorist and caught like a rabbit and made to answer without hiding behind anybody..

GUARDS INJURED AS ELSIE RUNS OUT OF CASH AT FUNERAL.

A   FUNERAL  in Butere has left three body guards of Kakamega Women Representative Elsie Muhanda hospitalised after youths demanded for money at the occasion. Drama ensued when Muhanda, currently eyeing to be Governor promised money to mourners at a funeral in Mulambo area of Butere Sub County. In her short speech to mourners, Hon Muhanda had assured mourners that she had money and she could use the same in her Guberbatorial bid and that they should not worry. After her speech she told mourners to line up for a token in which she started dishing out Ksh 50 per person present.  Excited women and youths who were at the occasion started chanting songs in her praise as Woman Representative as they gyrated to  isukuti .  SAFETY : Honourable Elsie Muhanda being whisked to safety in Butere when she ran out of cash at a funeral.  Soon after her speech, hell broke loose the local MP Tindi Mwale who had taken off earlier was not present to defend The Woman representative

MUMIAS LEVEL 4 HOSPITAL: SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

LAST week we got an e-mail from a whistle blower at Mumias Level4 hospital narrating on goings there. From the mail, it appears there is a deliberate effort aither thru ommission or commission by those charged with daily running the institution to bring it down.  Those entrusted by the County Government see that the institution lives to its name of LEVEL FOUR appear to be determined to pull it apart. Locals have failed to get services from the institution dispite the county investing in its well being in terms of drugs and Budget. As a responsible media, we set out to get a comment from those mentioned in the ongoing at the institution.
