WASHIALI AND SOSSION LAUGH OFF AZIMIO TALK ATTEMPTS.
Story By Patrick Were in Matungu.
DESIGNATE Chief Administrative Secretaries - CAS- Hon. Benjamin Washiali and Wilson Sossion have laughed off calls by Azimio leader Raila Odinga for a mediator in talks with President William Ruto.
The two leaders said Kenyans had overwhelmingly cotted for the KK administration with William Ruto as President and no amount of threats will change that.
They want the opposition to give President William Ruto time and evaluate him after 5 years of his constitutional mandate.
Speaking at the home of the late KNUT First Vice Chairman John Wesonga in Matungu Kakamega County, the leaders said it was hypocritical to keep the country in an election mood 8 months after the polls.
"We had an election, the loosers went to the highest court and it pronounced itself to the effect that KK's William Ruto had won, it's time we respected that" Said Hon Washiali.
The former Mumias East MP said the country had outgrown the tradition of election loosers mobilizing their supporters to oppose victory of opponents adding that demoscrasu does not allow such.
Hon Washiali said the president's score sheet will be evaluated in 2027 by voters who will approve of his performance by re-electing his administration.
On his part, Hon Sossion said even if the President was going to dialogue with Azimio Leader Raila Odinga, the talks must not upset the current government as constituted.
He said the next election was going to be in 2027 and that unless the opposition prepares, it was clear they would loose to the KK side.
"President William Ruto is determined to turn around the economy of this country and he needs to be left to concentrate on that endevour without threats of Maandamano" Said Sossion.
