ROBBERY. SENATOR MALALA AND 7 OTHERS IN COURT.

KAKAMEGA Senator Cleophas Malala and seven others including his body guard were today charged with several counts or robbery with violence.

The counts included malicious damage of property, molestation, misuse of a firearm. Bellow are the chargesheet obtained by thus blog.
In Kenyan law, robbery with violence guilt attracts life imprisonment.

KMTC BUTERE LEADERS HAIL GOVERNOR BARASA.

FORMER  Cabinet Minister Professor Fredrick Amukowa Anangwe has hailed Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa's commitment to get a Medical college in Butere. Speaking to  eshikumo2030.blogspot.com , Prof Anangwe said since the advent of devolution, Butere was yet to get meaningful development. "Actually, the Governor is bold and focused in getting a KMTC here, this is something comendable and we are fully behind him and will engage the Minustry at the National level to compliment his efforts" He said. Anangwe who served as Butere MP long before devolution said past regimes at county level had their priotities wrong because the lager population in Butere was fooled to believe their job was to clap for and praise leaders.
