KAKAMEGA CABINET: WHY THEY HAD TO GO.

I hail the decision to appoint Kennedy Echesa as Chief of Staff. He is shrewd, sharp and with the ability to build and coordinate a network that will ensure the reelection of Governor FERNANDES BARASA. His predecessor was only good at pride.

Removal of Leah Khasandi as Chief Officer social services is also welcome. She didn't demonstrate social qualities to be in that position.

Maintaining Moffat Mandela as CEC Sports and Social Services is very fine. He is a young energetic man with pregnant ideas and good PR. Hata nakhwimana shiokhulia you part ways with appreciation that you are talking to a person who value human interaction.

Faith Gitira and omwana wefu Jessica Weku Wesonga are good ladies at work whom Governor Barasa deserve on board on the road to 2027.

Exiting of Dr Wesonga was long overdue due to his lay back and care free attitude. Public Service's Andaman had also to go, he has never help a meeting to even know county employees.

Dr Alila is another good officer in the ministry of medical services and very efficient at services delivery. It was good to maintain him.

By all accounts Alfred Saidi Khasavuli is a cool and sober person. Iam not surprised that Governor Barasa found it fit to maintain him as his advisor. However in my view and given his experience and track record in public service if Saidi's potential is well utilised he can perform well even as a CEC going forward.
The return of Deputy Governor Ayub Savula as CEC trade is highly welcome. If well oiled he will play an important role in the reelection campaigns.

This far the new cabinet is a good step towards coming up with strategic grassroots policies and programs that will ensure Governor Barasa's reelection 2027.
