KAKAMEGA Woman Representative Elsie Muhanda yesterday told off his political detractors at a funeral attended by Governor Fernandes Barasa.
Speaking when she joined family and relatives of the late Mama Selpher Mbaisi Khakabo at Amalemba in Shirere, the Woman Rep, exuding rare confidence said she will not be detracted or intimidated.
"They are walking around saying Iam only giving umbrellas, do you want the Umbrellas to continue? She asked for which the crowd answered in the affirmative.
Hon Muhanda termed as blind those only seeing her umbrella project and not the education scholarships and cheques given to learners under NGAFF.
"My commitment and resolve towards better leadership now and in future remains to be among pillars that will forge development to this county" She said.
Euologizing the late, the WR said she was grateful for the support that the late contributed to the society as her impact will transcend generations.
She termed the late as a pillar of hope, unity & love in the family, church, community and society as a whole and prayed that the Almighty God rest the departed soul in peace eternal & perpetual light shine upon her way.

The MP who has been linked to intentions to contest and wrest Governorship from Barasa in 2027 said at the end of each of the elected leader's term they will be judged by service they delivered and not insults or threats thrown at others.
The woman Rep has been a target of barbs, criticism and cat calls from her detractors who accuse her of "misusing ksh 140M given as NGAFF". She has also attracted threats against stepping in some areas in the county for fear that she could use the tours to solify her Governorship dream.
